    clean premises, prices are ok too. the reason why im never going back?

    the other day, standing in line with a six pack for my mate and meself, i observed the following: a customer was trying to pay for two bottles of beer and was requested to show his id (the man was clearly well over 40, but oh well). he showed his overseas drivers licence, gym membership with his photo and name, overseas 18+ card... none of them good enough, he was told to bring his passport. who lugs their passport around with them though, chunky thing that it is? he asked to speak to someone else, the management came. they told him that was the law. as he was walking out, clearly frustrated, i saw how they cackled.

    just before i had witnessed how some other customers who didnt look a day over 18 were coolly waved over with some strong liquor and werent given so much as a second glance.

    i dropped my beers on the spot and walked out. im never coming back, and neither are my friends or family.
