Sydney has been longing for a venue like this for far too long!
In the beachside suburb of Manly located above Manly Cinemas close to the Wharf a hidden gem lies!
With out any expectations I stumbled across this micro brewery and was blown away!
Being a completely different concept to what I am used to with strange beers and having been my first time there I was pleased to be greeted by a friendly staff member as soon as I entered the doors.
With 5 beers brewed right there on premise I opted for the taster rack to sample all. The staff member who served me was obviously up to scratch with her beer knowledge as she was able to describe and talk me through each of the beers, whats more she had a smile on her face and was genuienly enjoying our chat!
The menu was simple but the food was of such great quality. The presentation was so good originally I had no plans to eat but when I saw one of the beef pies and the big bowl of mussles delivered to the table next to me I was sucked right in and ordered. Delicious!
The venue has an intimate feel to it, its unpretentious, relaxed and friendly.
The service was amazing, the staff seem to love working there.
All in all the place gets 5 stars.
Great beer, great food, excellent wine list, great atmosphere and outstanding service if you haven't been to 4 pines definatly make a conscious effort to visit next time you head to Manly.

I went to 4 Pines for the first time last weekend and had a great time! The service was great, staff were really knowledgable about their beers/wines, and the atmosphere was really relaxed. Try the tasting rack of beers if it's your first time to find what you like, then go back for a pint or 2. I love the Hefeweizen or the Klosch, they're awesome on a hot summer's afternoon! 4 Stars for 4 Pines! -

This is a new bar/ restaurant in manly that brews its own boutique beers. They also have an extensive wine bar with 52 different wines. The atmosphere is really beautiful, the service is impecable and the food is delicious. It's a great place to meet friends and comes complete with big stainless steel beer vats, wood, comfy cushions and the best view on the northern beaches.

With six award-winning beers brewed onsite, plus an extensive wine list and quality food, it’s no wonder it’s standing room only at 4 Pines most weekends. Located upstairs opposite Manly’s ferry wharf, the actual brewery is in the bar so you can watch the liquid gold being created. And with 560mL ‘Big One’ beers setting you back less than a tenner, your wallet will love 4 Pines too.
