A beauty at Brighton! This cafe epitomises the joys of brighton compared to glenelg, always somewhere to park, cafes aren't overflowing and much more relaxed low key dining. Cafe Etc is a must for weekend breakfasts with my favourite being the veggie breakfast (baked beans, mushrooms, brown bread toast, tomatoes, two eggs) and optional extras like has browns. We always have a huge OJ and I love the coffee which has chocolate syrup swirled on top. The decor is so marilyn and there seems to be new things added all the time. I love going in the summer and sitting on the rustic benches outside. Lots of choice for lunch with salads and sandwhiches, baguettes etc. Great for Marilyn fans or Brighton locals, but anyone would fit in at the groovy place!

What a great cafe. If you want a light meal or just a coffee and yes, you will probably end up with some cake cos they are hard to resist!. They have gluten-free choices too. You can sit inside or outside and enjoy the sunshine. They also do "breakfast" all day. This suited my 20-something sons who were up for a "Big Breakfast" after surfacing from a big night before!! A lovely way to spend an hour or two.
