    A little hidden but worth seeking out. I've been going to A Little On The Side for the last five years and it's always been a delight. The staff are friendly and sweet and generous - sometimes they have given me free muffins to take home at the end of the day.
    It's hard not to keep re-ordering their haloumi burger whenever I'm there!

    A hidden gem amongst the terrace houses in darlington, but when you do find it, you'll definitely love it. Great place for breakfast over the weekend, slightly expensive but you definitely do get a good meal out of it.

    The name should be 'alot on the side' - however I feel its title suggests for you not to underestimate this little gem.

    Its baked field mushroom is the best in Australia!
