Picture Quality:
The quality of digital TV reception, like analog, depends on the quality of your antenna and associated cabling. Poor reception with digital transmissions can result in no picture being received at all, compared to a 'noisy' picture with analog TV. You should always consult a qualified installer when installing a new digital antenna.

Units & Apartments:
Many apartments & units share comminal master antenna. Many of these would beed to be upgraded before the individual units can receive digital TV. You should consult your body corporate to upgrade your antenna system to digital.

    Installed antenna but did not work. I refused to pay. Came back a week later to fix. Told me it was my DVR. Unfortunately paid them. Bought another DVR- same thing- poor reception. Called them back and they said would get back to me. Still waiting a week later. Got another company to fix. Will Aaron's Antennas call me ? I don't think so. Everybody, use somebody else.

    They quoted me $350 just for the antenna, pole and cables were already fixed.
    I got the work done in $80 from somewhere else and the quality of work is excellent.

    We've just returned to our unit after 5 months and didn't want to reconnect to Foxtel. We have no free-to-air signal in our unit and other owners have not been interested in fixing TV reception problems as most have Foxtel. We had previously made enquiries with an antenna technician who said that in order to get TV reception, the entire building would need to be rewired which would have been expensive and messy.

    We contacted Aaron's Antenna's and TV Service to see if we could find a solution to this problem without involving the bodycorporate. We received a quote the same day that we contacted the company, and equipment was installed 2 days later as promised. They used existing infrastructer in order to save us money and minimise the mess (we didn't require any further cabling inside our unit). We now own the digital antenna which is mounted on the existing roof antenna, as well as the extra cable and the settop box which we can take with us should we ever relocate. We now have perfect TV reception, 22 HD digital channels, no bodycorporate involvement and no more Foxtel bills - what more could we ask for! Thanks Glen & team on a job well done.

    Just moved back to our unit after 5 months away and decided to find a solution other than reconnecting to Foxtel. Minimal TV requirements, just wanted free-to-air stations but have been using basic Foxtel package for the last 3 years in our unit because there is no TV signal in our unit. Told by a previous antenna technician that the entire unit block would need re-wiring for us to get reception so gave up and resorted to Foxtel instead.

    Aarron's Antenna & TV Service quoted the day we rang to enquire and installed 2 days later. They used existing infrastructure which reduced our cost and there was no additional internal wiring required in our unit. No need to consult body corporate because we've not interferred with anyone's equipment, merely piggybacked on to it. We now own the additional cable, the digital antenna mounted on the existing ariel and the HD Digital settop box so we can take that with us if we ever relocate. Very cost-effective, approximately 1 year of Foxtel subscription! All set up and ready to go, perfect reception and 22 channels of free HD digital TV - what more could you want! Thanks Glenn & team, a job well done. We couldn't be happier.

    When I rang to get a quote they came on the said day and within the time. When organising dates and times to do the actual work they were mindful and considerate of my work schedule and gave me courtesy calls to update me on the expected time of arrival.
    They were friendly and helpful, and at a reasonable price we now have excellent reception.

    The work was completed on time, however the type of anntena was change to a cheaper model by the technicians. I checked the cost of the anntenas with the manufacturer http://www.hillsantenna.com.au/ and yet the business owner didn't want to reduce the cost of the job but installed the cheaper one (on the advice of the technician)
