Where some reviewers say "pricey" I say "quality costs".
Abhi's does very flavoursome Indian cuisine that transcends the typical Butter Chicken and Lamb Korma brigade, the Goa Fish (barramundi) and Baby Eggplant curries were fabulous.
Only 1 complaint - our three curry selections recently all had very similar sauces, I expect a waiter to be on top of that and to make a customer aware. Nonetheless, Abhi's is one of Sydney's finer Indian restaurants, and has deservingly been around for a long time.

The food is simply delicious. The curries and dishes are traditional and authentic without much oil and creams. Tastes more of a South Indian! Excellent customer service. Price is bit high but can pay for the quality. They can add more varieties in menu as the quality is highly good and people get an opportunity to try out many more quality Indian dishes other than the usual ones on the menu card.

The best Indian in Sydney, truly in a class above the rest, my only problem is that you have to book or you wont get a table, service does slow does when they are packed, but worth the wait.

Try the Palak Patta Chat and the Lamb Korma.

This restaurant definately deserves 5 stars. The food was so amazing (my first Indian cuisine experience), I can't wait to go back again. The service was great, staff are friendly and waitress took our order without writing it down. Highly recommend!

We went as a large group, and found service to be a little slow, mind you a buch of hungry teens cant be feed quickly enough at the best of times, food is really delicious and we have been there several times and always order different dishes - little bit pricey but hey this is a bit more upmarket than you average indian resturant.

My husband and i love Abhis, we tend to only go on special occasions as it is a bit pricey. Although i still think that the quality of the dining experience makes the price worth it. The service is fantastic and the food, although still indian, is unique, beautifully presented and absolutely delish! We have never been disappointed, and will always go back on our anniversary.

    Food: Pretty good
    Service: Excellent
Price: 20-30% higher than other regular Indian Restaurants
Would I go back: Sure, (Absolutely sure if I am not paying :-)...

We had all vegetarian dishes - the Eggplant curry as well as the mixed vegetable samosas were excellent...
The Lamb cutlets on the next table smelt real nice too...

I love Abhis. Its expensive so we tend to only go on special occasions. But the food is delicious. Make sure you book because it is always packed.
