    I have been a casual teacher at Mackellar Girls Campus in Manly Vale for four years. I believe the Biala girls who attend Mackellar Girls Campus have benefited greatly from the outstanding staff at Biala Hostel. It is a safe, nurturing and caring and supportive environment in which Aboriginal students are able to stay while they further their educations in a northern beaches school.

    I have worked closely with these students over the four years and they have benefited greatly from Biala Hostel and the education provided by Mackellar Girls Campus. They are provided by biala and Mackellar Girls Campus with many more opportunities and are regularly involved with courses, regular sporting activities, excursions, cultural art activities, video conferences as well as a stable day to day education.

    Biala hostel is a place that helps Aboriginal girls to grow with confidence while providing every need of each individual girl. We need more places like Biala Hostel.
