    They are cheap on a service because they don't do the job. For four years I took my car to them. Every time I paid they had a list of mechanical jobs waiting for me. I kept telling them for four years that there was a "clunk" every morning when I turned the steering wheel hard right. They said there was nothing wrong. I looked myself and found the top nut of the bottom pair on the vertical threaded strut on the anti-roll bar was half way up the threaded part, a whole 60mm above. Yes, they hadn't even looked. Anyone could see that when it was on the hoist. I asked them to rotate the wheels. When I got home and checked the wheels were in the same position. You only get what you pay for - a cheap service is no service at all!

    We had our car serviced not that long ago. It came to a total of around $400. They did a large amount of work, brake pads, servicing etc. The car felt brand new. I never knew what it felt like before as I had always gone elsewhere and never been able to tell the difference. The receptionist there is lovely as well. I was worried I would be taken advantage of being a female and knowing nothing about cars but that was not the case at all.

    I have a 4wd and i have been going to Absolute Mechanical for last 7 years, i have found then honest and reailable. if there is anything wrong with my vehicle i get a call with a quote and the quote stays as is. They also look after several of my friends and family cars and they have all found them very good. not to sure what the other negative people are talking about.

    Wife put her car in only to find they did no work at all. Paid for major service and they din' change a single spark plug or top up any fluids or even change oil filter. Will taking it further.

    I left my car to have the air conditioning repaired, a $200 replacement of seals. They phoned me and said the job would cost $1180. On completion I collected the car - the air conditioning gas stayed in for two weeks.

    They did more work and the gas lasted 48 hours. They then took the dash out and said it would cost another $1100. I told them to stop and give me the car back. It took 8 days to put the dash back in! Drove the car out, round the block, then back into the workshop - left side windows did not work.

    I went to collect the car they told me never to come back. They did the following damage to my car that I now have to pay someone else to repair: boot opening button in the glove compartment left in pieces; remote boot opening button on key not working; right turning light not working on dash; air conditioning still not working.

    Absolutely Great! Being a 18yo girl I hated going to the mechanics as I was always ripped off. Absolute Mechanics gave me a full service and when I went to collect the car there written report spotted about 6 things that needed to be fixed or replaced. The mechanic showed me what was wrong, how urgent it was and also how much it would cost! At the end of the day I walked away with only paying for the service they quoted me for and also a list of all the things wrong and how much it would cost me! A great and honest bunch of people! Will be going there again!!!

    Highly recomend to any one needing machanical servies. They are by far the cheapest and so friendly.You never get a nasty bill at the end of work. my car was playing up after they regases the aircon, they tryed but couldnt fix it.So they referered me onto a specilist and refunded my money in ful.Who does that these days they had my car in there shop 3 times and no charge.this wasnt the first time i have been to them and wont be my last. Thumbs up guys :)
