WARNING! Dont go here! I went cos of the positive reviews on this site. The staff at reception -saw that as I am female dont know about cars, and quoted me a repair job of $800! They told me I needed a new windscreen, among other things. I has an extensive roadworthy done in another town 2 months earlier, with everything serviced and clear, I have driven less than 2000 km since that service, and just needed a mechanical check done for someone who wanted to buy the car. The windscreen is the one thing I do know about, went out the back, and demanded that one of the mechanics show me what the problem was, despite me not supposed to be talking to them, only to talk with the receptionsit. They pointed to a mark, I rubbed it off with my jumper, for them to agree, that oh, in that case you dont need a new one. I talked to one of the mechanics and after me saying how upset I was about the quote at reception, they wrote me up a new quote, this time for $300. I went back to the receptionest- tell them that I know they were trying to rip me off cos of my lack of knowledge about cars,and about how if I had trusted them I would have paid $300 to get the windscreen changed, and they would have been very happy about that, they just walk away saying, its ok. I am sooooo angry about my experience there. Really am shocked that they could be heartless and do that to someone. Ill be telling everyone I know to pass on this message. So sad that they feel the need to treat people this way.
