    Appalling.

    We were advised after our things had been taken that they would arrive one and a half weeks later than the agreed date. When asked a discount was grudgingly provided.

    Our things arrived two weeks late! Across Australia did not call to advise us of this; after we called to enquire what time to expect the truck they had the sub-contractor call us back despite our contact being Across Australia.

    This does beg the question of whether we would have just been left uninformed and waiting if we had relied on Across Australia to advise us.

    When the truck did arrive and the bill was presented, we protested that we had not received the service promised and sold to us. We were then told in no uncertain terms our items would not be unloaded and would be taken away and stored at our cost if we didn't pay. As we needed our long overdue possessions we did pay on the promise that "something would be sorted out" at a later time.

    This of course has not occurred.

    When emailing or calling staff are reluctant to give their name so it is difficult to follow up any accountability and inconvenient issues raised in emails are ignored.

    If you are thinking about using Across Australia I urge you to reconsider.

      I've had exactly the same problem! Only apparently, the truck "rolled over" on its way. Ha, good one! 2 weeks later, with no communication, still haven't got stuff.
      DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
