    I highly recommend. They built me 44 metres of lap & cap fence with a 600mm retaining
    wall underneath it, did an excellent first class job. Prompt friendly service and showed up on time.

    not to damage my garden and cleaned up my foot path and everything else when finished. My new lap and cap fence and double gate was built very professionally, it looks great. Thank you

    Hopeless and should be avoided. Made appointments and 3 times failed to turn up. Rude, unresponsive and unapologetic that I'd waited 2 hours and they hadn't appeared. Not worth the call when they don't care about the customer.

    Responsive with quote, fast, efficient management of construction, excellent materials and workmanship, communicative via e-mail and SMS throughout. Keith was a skilled tradesman (AND a gentleman), completing the 33m x 1.8m 3-rail treated pine paling fence with galvanised steel posts single-handedly in two days. One of our better building experiences without collateral damage. The old fence was removed from the nature strip where Keith neatly stacked it a few days after construction. There were some unexpected extra charges not discussed during construction when the invoice turned up but these seemed reasonable so we paid them without question. While not the lowest, we accepted Active's quote as they were recommended by a friend who had just used them. We can also recommend their services. Thanks Lindsay, Peter and Keith.

    Very difficult to work with and wouldn't recommend at all.
    Was incredibly rude and did not communicate anything.
    The fencer turned up at 7am one morning without any prior warning.(and I had 4 different properties on the boundary to organise and clear).
    Even though staff who did the quotes was great, said things were possible when they weren't.
    They left the rubbish and the old fence for over a week, only collecting it when they wanted paying.

    I have another 2 fences to be done, and I'll definitely be going elsewhere.

    Workman ship ok. But very rude to deal with. Did not provide 1 to 2 days notice as they had promised, and when questioned about the details of the quote, accused us the customer of altering it. I'm glad other people had good experience but it certainly was not the case for myself and my neighbour.

    The have just had Active Fencing complete 60 mts of lap and cap paling fence. The guys were great, very quite, just got on with the job with no fuse or disruption. Took all rubbish/ old fence away and left everthing tidy. Very good and experienced workmen. Fence looks good and will last many years. Very happy with the job.

    Peter,just wanted to make comment on the fence that was put up on Thursday/Friday last week at my property.Top Notch is all I can say...it is better than I thought...and for one guy to put it up in two days is incredible.I have had many people comment on it and I have recommended you guys and I will keep your number in my phone for further work.The trades guy that was here (think his name was John) was on time ,cleaned up and did a really Trojan effort.Thanks again.
