    I wanted a backyard makeover for my Villa. Several Quotes were obtained but Colin won the job, not because he was the cheapest but because of the professional way in which he conducted himself. He listened to what I wanted including budget, He made suggestions and the reasons why and came up with exactly what I needed. Rare for a trades person to call you if they are running late and even rarer for them to turn up on the day they say at the allocated time.
    Colin and his team of masterful tradespeople did a fantastic job and I keep admiring the transformation done by this professional band of tradespeople. Cleaned up afterwards as well which was a bonus and no hidden extra costs. I am one very very happy customer. Family and friends say I now have a "Wow" factor backyard.

    We recently built in Stonecutters Ridge estate at Colebee, and Colin's signs were plastered around the neighbourhood. When asking the neighbours their thoughts on his work, we received nothing but positive comments, so we contacted Colin to provide us with a quote.

    We did get quite a few people to quote, as we were working to a fairly specific budget. But even though others were cheaper, we kept coming back to Colin because he offered us a level of confidence and integrity that was missing from all the others. His knowledge of the Australian Standards and local council regulations is exceptional, and his ability to turn a vision into a reality is fantastic.

    Colin has done quite a bit of work for us, and it's still going. He's built a block retaining wall, poured a driveway, installed irrigation and turf, and will be back to do more work in our front yard, and also complete the landscaping around our pool when the time comes.

    Like all the other reviews say, he is a man of his word. He works long hours, over and above any other tradesperson I've come across (and there's been a few!). He runs the show, and is always onsite, so knows exactly what is going on at all times. His attention to detail is fantastic - he is meticulous and a perfectionist.

    The old saying goes "you get what you pay for". Colin from Active Industries is worth every cent!

    We have recently built in Bungarribee (Bunya Estate). Through obtaining a few quotes on our landscaping, we found Colin to be the most thorough with quoting and also took the time explaining and answering any questions we had. Colin listened to any requests we had with our landscaping. He has a high standard of work and does not take shortcuts. We are very happy with the outcome of our landscaping and would recommend to anyone. Thanks, Josh.

    My wife and recently built a new home in The Ponds, which had considerable challenges with respect to drainage and landscaping. We engaged Colin's services and from the first day we met, we haven't looked back. Colin delivers an incredibly high standard of work and we were very impressed at his reliability. Colin often arrived before 6am in the dark to catch up on delays from inclement weather and he always delivered on his timing. Colin was prepared to speak very honestly from his own experience and gave us excellent advice regarding choice of turf, layout and drainage.
    Colin was also very upfront and transparent regarding quotations and pricing. There were no surprises when it came to payment which is very unusual.
    I HIGHLY recommend Active Industries to anyone needing landscaping!

    Colin recently completed a considerable retaining wall job for me. Not only did he precisely listen to what I wanted but delivered on that exactly.
    He worked tirelessly from 5am to 8pm some days due to weather set backs.
    His work was of a very high standard and my wife and I are extremely pleased with the finished work.
    A very honest tradesman(something very rare in this world especially Sydney) and all round great bloke who gave plenty of helpful advice on other ideas I had.
    I have already recommended him to my inlaws and if you need any walls,excavation or landscaping look no further than Colin, you certainly will not be disappointed.

    Colin recently completed a re-turf and landscaping job for us. From day one Colin was professional and reliable, arrived on time for site visits, listened to our requirements and made recommendations. The price quoted was what we paid, even after adding some extra work to the initial scope.

    The work was carried out to the highest standard and has transformed our garden.

    We are delighted with result and have no hesitation in recommending Colin. We will definitely consider him for future work.

    We found Colin after asking a nearby home owner who built their fantastic rendered retaining wall. After talking to Colin, it was quickly evident that Colin was professional and unlike the others that had quoted us; he actually listened to our requirements, was on time & did as he said he would. We were so pleased and confident in his work that we also asked Colin to construck a deck, pergola & letterbox which are of an extremely high standard.

    We will use Colin for any future work and I have no hesitation in recommending him!

    We were in the process of having a new home built and Colin's signs were popping up in front yards advertising his business. One of the neighbours we asked said he was very happy with Colin's work so we arranged to meet (he turned up at the time agreed) and worked out what we wanted. Got the quote, happy with the quote and started the work. Colin worked in with our builder to do the rear yard retaining wall before access was blocked with building work. Work completed, love the driveway, the retaining walls look fantastic and finished off with the sandstone capping on the letterbox pillar. Quoted price is what we paid even after a few changes. We have to say that the people who work for him are first rate and have had plenty of comments how good it all looks.

    A few months ago we had Colin do Colin do a some build retaining walls & concrete paths. there was a significant amount of excavation that needed to be carried out.
    Everything was done with a very hiigh standard of work.
    The most pleasing part of the experience was that Colin was running the job at all times & he did everything he said he would.
    I would most certainly reccomned him to anyone especially if they are after a qulaity finish to their landscaping.
    I will be asking him back to do some more excavation work in the coming month if he can fit me in..
