    I am so surprised to see the reviews below. I have dealt with ADC for a few years now and have bought my engagement ring, wedding bands, wedding earrings and cocktail jewellery from them. The service has been exceptional, both before purchase and with after care (I do not have a high budget either and have never felt embarrassed in any way!) I have always had my jewellery independently valued and it has also been much higher than what I have paid for at ADC. The quality has been outstanding and the service professional, knowledgeable and empathetic. I would highly recommend buying from ADC to anyone! I am addicted now and will only ever buy my jewellery from ADC! Highly recommend sales assistant Tamara to anyone who is looking - best service I've had anywhere!

    I went to the ADC and found my perfect engagement ring. The service was excellent and we didn't feel pressured to buy on the spot, or spend big the whole time we were there. Our sales assistant spent 2 hours helping us and explaining the difference in diamonds. I was going to go back to purchase it but after reading these reviews I don't feel comfortable to buy from there. Especially after hearing stories of diamonds falling out after a month!

      very dissapointed with ADC. Last year i got complicated design sketched by handmade jeweller. The management of ADC later referred me to their office in little collins street and gave me a more competitive cheaper quote than ADC. Ring was fantastic and was amazed by quality. later the band cracked in half and white gold ring went yellow. Went to adc to get it repaired and was told they didnt have my records on data so they wouldnt fix it. I was shocked i thought the jeweller would have been associated and employed by the company as they gave me a cheaper price on behalf of the company. I forgot their address as we moved to adelaide and back.Consultant of middle eastern appearance very evaisive, rude and tried to usher me out as if i was a crimminal. They wouldnt give me their name again or lead me to their office. I have a brocken ring and so angry, heart broken. ADC should be responsible for the ring. Dont buy from this dodgy place. What do i do now?

    Ok guys, just an update on my situation, I phoned the ACCC and got some advice on my rights and how much further I can take my situation and they gave me some great advice, they advised from what I had told them it did raise concern, as the ring did not appear to be "fit for its purpose" (to be worn every day as an engagement ring) and was perhaps of not an "acceptable quality", so they advised me to send ADC a letter of complaint/demand advising them how I wanted the situation resolved, which was ultimately a refund so I could go elsewhere. The senior manager contacted me 2-3 days after receiving my email and apologised on behalf of her staff and I felt the apology was genuine and sincere, the manager offered to repair my ring and put extra reinforcements in the band to ensure in future the band will not bend again, I wasn't entirely happy with this and still wanted a refund, I advised the manager I would think things over and get back to her, about 5 mins later the manager phoned me back and offered to make me a completely new ring with a thicker and durable band, I asked if I could pick a completely new ring instead for the amount we paid and the manager was happy for me to do this also, however I ended up getting the same ring design as I was assured extra care would be put into making the second ring to ensure this never ever happens again. I was happy with the outcome and resolution offered, I probably would have preferred just a refund in all honestly but I'm not unreasonable person and I wanted to give them the opportunity to rectify the situation. Usually a ring takes 6 weeks to make however ADC offered to have it ready in 4 weeks. I picked up my new ring on the weekend and it is beautiful and you get what you pay for. Although the situation has been resolved I think ADC need to keep in mind all of the inconvenience this has caused my partner and I, the emotional stress; I actually cried from the way I was initially treated and believe me I'm not the crying type. I also live an hour out of Melb so driving to Melb to drop the ring off for repair, then driving back up to potentially pick another ring a week later, then drove back up to pick up the new ring, little things like that do have an impact on people, and again although ADC have resolved the issues, I will remember this experience for the rest of my life, this has been on my mind for the past month, everyday. I do appreciate that ADC have tried their best to help me, and I strongly suggest anyone who wants further advice on their own situation to contact ACCC because as consumers we do have right to get what we paid for, don't be afraid to fight. I am really appreciative that everything worked out in the end and this is just my own personal experience, obviously ppl have had good experiences and my experience did turn out to be good in the end; my best friend purchased her ring from ADC about 2.5 yrs ago and there havent been an issues with her ring to date.

    Just read these reviews and was so surprised! The service, quality and assurance i received from shopping with Australian Diamond Company was exceptional. I chose a beautiful ring and my partner and i couldn't have been happier with it. We will definitely be going back to buy our wedding rings through them. Someone mentioned that the sales staff were rude and nothing could be further from the truth. We were greeted and served swiftly and the whole process was not just exciting but informative. Even though i had no knowledge of diamonds the consultant explained everything to me in language i could easily grasp. Of course there are cheaper options out there but ADC gives you piece of mind with their quality and their designs are stunning.
    Can't wait to go back to get the wedding rings.

    PLEASE GUYS DO NOT BUY FROM THE ADC. Believe reviews, they are there for a reason!! I agree my first appt which is the day we bought my ring the service was fantastic; I was stoked with the service. BUT the after service was shocking!! The same thing happened to me as per below review, after 2.5 months one of my smaller diamonds fell out!! And they implied it was my fault!! They said the ring has been "knocked hard" which then caused the diamond to pop out, they said the ring was out of shape and no longer a circle and asked if I had lifted something heavy which may have caused the bottom of the ring to bend inwards?! I couldnt see anything peculiar about the shape! Even if I was to lift something slighty heavy this should not happen!! I was so angry, they said they were no prepared to admit fault as it was nothing to do with the quality or makemanship, I asked how would they know this when they havent even done a full assessment, all they did was go out the back for a few minutes and what from that they have concluded it was my fault. The staff said if it was their fault they would admit fault, and they have done so in the past, when I asked them to give me some examples of what they have admitted fault to in the past, the staff couldnt answer my question, why? because they never would admit something is their fault!! They have said they will replace the diamond and fix the ring out of their "good will"! I will be lodging a complaint about this that's for sure, Im so angry and so so disappointed. The sales consultant even asked me what kind of work I did, cant believe it, they even started asking me if I washed the dishes with my ring on, I told them I work in an office, I have a dishwasher and I never wear it to bed, Ive been following the care instructions but even if I did do the dishes with it on every now and again, big whoop! this should still not be happening, very poor service. All I wanted them to do was be apologetic, empathetic and say no worries they fix it as it has 36 month warranty, they just totally went about it the wrong way. TRUST ME GUYS DO NOT USE ADC, THERE ARE SO MANY OTHER PLACES YOU CAN GO!

    My husband purchased my very large diamond engagement ring from ADC. Afterwards, we purchased our wedding rings from ADC. The service was great when we were spending up big. However, the after service care has been disgraceful. My wedding ring was not made in accordance with my very clear instructions (which were written down by the ADC staff and confirmed with me), the engraving I had done was lopsided (despite paying a preimum for ADC to do the engraving), I have been misled and ripped off for rhodium plating (they charge double than anywhere else and it lasts much less than anywhere else) and have been spoken to like I am an idiot after they buffed off my rhodium plating during cleaning (I suspect it was a ploy to make me pay for more rhodium plating). I have given ADC plenty of chances. Unfortunately, today was the last straw for me and I would not go back if someone paid me. I strongly recommend that you go elsewhere to ensure that you get the after service care you should expect after spending so much money ($20k>).

    My fiance & I ordered my engagement ring from ADC on the weekend. Have to say that the service was great & the staff member that served us did a great job and was very patient. However, having done some comparisons on the ring we ordered ADC represents poor value for money. Our solitare ring costs just under $5K but a similar stone should only cost around $2K & the setting around $700-800. I understand that they're a business & have to make a profit (I work in retail too) but with this information I wouldn't recommend ADC to anyone.

      Worst experience ever in this company. DO NOT BUY HERE, TOO EXPENSIVE RUDE SERVICE. ENGAGING ROMANCE!!! My partner Bill called spoke to a manager. she was the most UNPROFESSIONAL heartless horrible person. My husband wanted a 0.70ct bcd E/VS1 for $6000 in gold solitaire( had a quote earlier at paul bram). She laughed at my partners price range saying it was was ridiculous and that he was lying. She said if you want cheap diamonds and poor quality in his price range he should shop at bevilles or online. He felt degraded, humiliated, worthless and angry. he actually cried. a grown man cried when he told me. He found other jewellers were thousands of dollars cheaper with better service.We were both stressed and i cried about the way we were treated. He would have paid upto $8000 but no money would justify this type of service. NEVER AGAIN.

      HELLO! Me again. Found out My sisters friend Emma purchased adiamond from this company and diamond fell out in the First month. They accused her of damaging the ring. They were going to charge her for it.She had to cry and beg for them to help her.
      Sales staff were pushy and expect you to buy on the spot. They harass you and threaten you into believeing you wont get the same price or diamond again. NEVER BUY HERE ON YOUR FIRT VISiT.
      LOOK AROUND THERE ARE BETTER QUALITY AND CHEAPER PRICES OUT THERE. Paul bram and empress diamonds were fantastic AND CHEAPER
      ALWAYS HAVE YOUR DIAMOND INDEPENDENTLY VALUED BY ANOTHER VALUER OUTSIDE THE COMPANY EMMA WAS CHARGED $35, FOR PEACE OF MIND.
      It took 45 miniutes for her to get a simple quote.Her partner just wlked out
      Emma's cousin worked for this company. THEY SELL ON COMMISSION THE HIGHER THEY SELL THE MORE COMMISSION THEY GET. Always negotiate negotiate lower prices. Lost of rings look the same. No interesting or unique designs BOARIN
