Adore Nails Beauty & Tanning
Pros: Very welcoming, professional and fun
Cons: If its your first time there you might get lost (as I did). But the people of Penrith are so awesome and are more than happy to help you find your way. The salon fronts on to Memory Park and has two doors.
On Friday, the 26th of July 2013 I arrived early for my 10:30AM appointment for a Shellac Manicure to be done by Mary of Adore Nails Beauty and Tanning.
Although initially lost on my way to find the salon I was pointed in the right direction and arrived with plenty of time to spare.
Being early was no problem as I was warmly greeted by Casey who informed me that as I was early, Mary was currently busy with another client. I was more than happy to just take some time to sit and relax.
Casey gave me a selection of colours to choose from and I was amazed at the selection. Unfortunately my first chosen colour Tutti-Fruitti was unavailable (due to popularity) but I discovered All Heart and chose it instead.
My hands are well used. I fully admit that I do not take good care of them. Dishwash gloves and I have an ongoing love-hate relationship. I also bite my nails when nervous so needless to say my hands and nails were not exceptional looking (but very clean) when I gave them over to Marys care.
Mary got down to work and over the course of 30 minutes transformed my nails from most ordinary to stylish. All the while we conversed and had what I thought was rather fun banter.
Mary recommended what I should do to take good care of the work she had done and I was incredibly happy with the way my nails turned out.
In terms of price having made a few calls before deciding where to go to get my nails done I believe that what Adore charged me was very good value.
I would certainly recommend Mary and Adore Nails Beauty & Tanning to anyone who wanted to get their nails done using Shellac.
Quite simply Mary is fun!
