I've been battling with this company for a simple warranty repair on my Delonghi air conditioner. It has been nothing short of gruelling to get them to return calls or treat me with any degree of basic care that one would anticipate when dealing with a simple service such as this.
After my air conditioner broke down, it took 22 days for the tradesmen to "fix" it. The first appointment was 8 days after my initial calls (it took several to get through, no messages were returned). The tradesman informed me that parts would need to be ordered which would take approx 7- 10 days and I would be called with an appointment time. No call was received. I rang to inquire about the status of the parts around day 8 and was informed the parts had been sitting there for two days. They then proceeded to inform me that the next available appointment would be in a further 7 days! They stated that it was "not their problem" that they had not called me to schedule the appointment and that I could complain, but it would "make no difference".
On the 22nd day after my air conditioner broke down, the tradesman attended with parts in hand to repair it. Fortunately I didn't have to wait 6 hours for them to arrive as I had done on the previous occasion, thus it was a little more reasonable (approx 2 hours wait). After they repaired the unit, I had the joy of using it overnight for the first time in over 3 weeks, to discover that water was now leaking out in bucket-loads all over the floor.
So once again, I must resort to going back to the drawing board to deal with a company who has such a callous disregard for their clients that they've made me feel nothing short of an inconvenience.
Avoid this company at all costs. Pay more, go elsewhere - do whatever it takes. Your calls won't be returned, your time won't matter and your air conditioner won't be fixed.
