This year for our family gathering we thought to try something different. So we booked ourselves a Sydney Harbour cruise. That was one of the best things we could've done, we had a great time on board the Aqua Queen. Not only where the staff extremely friendly and helpful, they considered the different dietary needs we had. The food was just beautiful and fresh. Along the way sides of interest where pointed out to us and for the ones that were not interested in sight seeing they could have a game of trivia. We had a lovely afternoon and we will doing this again nest year. A big thank you and well done to the crew of the Aqua Queen.
I don't know what social-club is on about,We got the same menu & it was great. The only thing that was frozen was the peas, everything else was fresh hot & beautifully cooked(of course the peas were hot to) the sea food was fresh & consisted of large prawns, oysters squid rings & smoked salmon, dessert was a home made cheese cake to die for.Glenn & Marlitt really know how to look after their clients, nothing was to much trouble for them. Would I recommend them? you better believe I would & do. You will not be disappointed with this couple, I have already booked another cruise (our 3rd ) We have been on other boats & as far as value for money, none of them match affordable.
Xmas party was held on this vessel Dec08. Very disappointed with dinner. Paid $70 a head and was promised an array of salads, seafood, beef + pork, bread rolls and two different desserts. We only got Roast Pork, baked potatoe, baked pumpkin and steamed frozen vegies that looked like they were sitting there for hours. Dessert was a chocolate pudding shaped into cake! Bar service was great and hostess didn't have much to do other than explain safety procedure on boat. Karaoke system was not flash. Would not recommend.
