Been here a few times, food is nice, however not the best jn Sydney...actually it's hard to find many great Mexican restaurants outside of the US.

This Mexican restaurant in a prime position on Crown St. I met a group of girlfriends here one Friday night for dinner. There was a gentle hum of voices and their were quite a few people dining, with a few vacated tables. I order the tacos and am disappointed. The beef strips and quite chewy and fatty and the corn tortillas do not seem overly fresh. I have also tasted much nicer guacamole. My friends are also not too impressed with their meals. The general consensus was that most dishes contained a lot of rice with stingier portions of other ingredients (salads, meats etc) and were not overly flavoursome or fresh. The service was also quite poor. Meals came out at different times, and it was hard to get the waiters attention. The cockroach that crawled up my friend's back was not a good end to the evening. With so many other great places to eat at nearby, I would not choose to come back here.

At last a decent mexican restaurant that offers more than nachos and fajitas!!! The food was tasty and the drinks were awsome!! It was busy but I didn't mind cause the atmosphere was great everybody seems to be having fun! Gerardo and his staff were always checking on us making sure that we were fine, and always ready to explain the menu to us!!

We didn't even make a reservation at this restaurant and when we got there it was pretty busy however, they seated us straight away which was good. I really liked the atmosphere in this restaurant. The staff are very friendly and welcoming however I wasn't that impressed with the food. I've actually never had Mexican food before but I was expecting something a little more exciting. They didn't even have Nachos on the menu. The food was tasty but not my style. The menu seemed very traditional. A little expensive but I guess the location is the reason why. the food came out really slow, maybe because it was busy. I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys Mexican food.
