I had been taking my car to albion automotive for around two years. Last year, I paid them to recore my radiator. The welsh plugs were also changed. After the work the car started losing water constantly so I took it back to them, at which time they told me the engine block was cracked. A second opinion revealed that the block had been cracked by faulty installation of a welsh plug (it had been tapped with something like a screw driver which dented the welsh plug and cracked the block). When I called them to discuss they told me that the engine block on my vehicle has always been cracked (I've had the vehicle for over 100,000kms). I am currently following this up through dept fair trading. If you don't want stress and headaches then don't come here.

Albion Automotive is without doubt the worst mechanic I have ever been to in my life.
They charged me $12,600 (the quote started at $5,000) to fix my car and after months of having to take it back to be fixed properly I had to take it some where esle to have all of the work re done.
This cost me a further $11,500 to have all of there shoddy work replaced.

We have been servicing our cars at Albion Automotive for years. Great service, fantastic prices and friendly people who always look out for you. I would never consider going anywhere else. I've recommended several of my friends and family to go there, all of which have been extremely pleased with the service and quality of work.

Great old fashioned service, The mechanics here actually do the work your car needs and explain it in plain english instead of trying to squeeze more work out of you by trying to baffle you with technical mumbo jumbo. Honest guys, honest prices have used them for years on my personal as well as company cars.

Had a battery change done here. Got charged $264 for a battery. Questioned the price and was assured it was the correct manufacturer's price for the battery. Called the manufacturer on Monday and was told the rec retail was in fact $170. Will never go near them again.
