    I was initially wary of Aldi but now shop there for all our pantry goods. It is much cheaper than Coles or Woolworths. The only thing I do not buy is the fruit - it's not very good quality (each time I've been there). The staff are always helpful and friendly - one time a staff member helped me unpack and repack my trolley when I had hurt my back. I will continue to support Aldi as long as the prices are low, and the range is good.

    Aldi might be the cheapest supermarket out there, but in terms of customer service...they fail miserably.
    Not one hello or a smile on anytime I have entered their store, except for when you get to the register...Then you have to pack your own bags..feels like i have to race and pay straight away without any of my items falling down!

    It was so exciting to walk into the Aldi and find fair prices!! Much much cheaper than Coles or Woolworths!! We would love an Aldi in Hobart!! They are excelent!! Aldi gave us friendly and fast service with a smile!!!

    For fast efficient service and prices that are much easier on the hip pocket you can't go past Aldi. Their products although rather unknown are still uncompromising in quality.

    There's nothing bad that can be said about ALDI. The prices are the cheapest anywhere, the quality is great, and there are plenty of stores so you won't have to go too far to get to an outlet. Be aware that you have to pack your own goods though, so bring a green bag. The only supermarket I visit now when I have to buy big.

    If you have never shopped in Aldi you are wasting money. I only go once a month but when I do I buiy in bulk. I buy what I need by doz lots for jam, tin food, basic staple foods and other products. I come out nad the bill is always 1/2 of other supermarkets. The only issue is you need to pack your own bags but the saving make this well worth it. The weekly specials are also worth watching as they are always cheap.

    This is definitely the supermarket to shop if you want to save money. In my case, approximately $70/week. Not quite the full range of products found in other supermarket but all your basic food items are covered plus a few extras. Some things to note, though:(1) you have to pack your own bags on the counters provided, (2) it is not really geared for quick visits as there is no designated express lane and if you have only one or two items you might find yourself lined up behind customers with loaded trolleys, (3) staff scan at record paces so elderly customers might want to ask them to slow down. But if you don't mind these differences and you want to save cash, go to Aldi.

    ALDI, has the most friendliest staff as well as helpful that I have come across. They are always happy and will help as much as they can. Their store is always clean, everything is easily found, there is always a staff person to help with any inquiries that you might have. Nothing is to much trouble for them, even if it is a silly question they will assist as much as they can.
    They are all very polite as well as respectful even if some customers are rude to them. Thier customer service is excellent, I refer all my friends and family to shop there as I do.
