The Aldi philosophy is simple.
Give people the opportunity to buy everyday high quality groceries at the lowest possible price.
Since our introduction into the Australian market in 2001 it is obvious that our Australian customers have taken to this with enthusiasm. Testament to this fact Aldi has grown to over 200 stores in New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland and the Australian Capital Territory. Everyday Aldi caters for thousands of Australians who acknowledge the Aldi philosophy as a formula for success.

Generally a little cheaper than the others, however limited choice. For example, no unsalted peanuts (only salted), no light peanut butter (only the usual higher fat variety). Lots of other low fat or low sugar items just not available.

Good chain. Cheap products to help supplement your grocery needs. These stores will give you good products for good prices. If you are smart you can split your needs between two stores and use Aldi to things at a cheap price and the regular market to get what they don't offer thus creating great savings.

Aldi offers a fairly wide range of cheaper products. There is not a huge variety to choose from, ie only one or two brands of...

The range of products at Aldis is small, they don't have bags, you have to pay for trolleys, the lines are long, the presentation of goods not fantastic and what do you get in return? Cheap, good quality basic items - why pay more at Woolies or Coles! For example, their lollies are superior, their pasta is good, chips and icecream yummy - what more could you ask for?

Aldi it is great but when you are tired and just want one thing the lines are too long.
So go in early get there at 9am to do your shopping there.

Aldi offers a great range of groceries and other products at exceptionally low prices. Some of the brands are not recognisable but the quality is still very good. I dont particullary like the idea of packing your own bags at checkout, however it is a small price to pay for cheap groceries.

Aldi offer good quality, low cost groceries. The variety is not as great as the major supermarkets but it is worth it for the cheaper prices. Their Mamia nappies are the best, they are as good quality as Huggies but much cheaper.

Affordable groceries!! Unit pricing makes Aldi very easy to work out what is worth what. The Hornsby store is located in Westfield so on the weekends, parking can be tricky, but it is well worth the wait. Aldi tend to have great specials on fruit and veges. A great place to stock up on staples. Friendly staff too.
