    I'd you're wanting a fun, value for money night out... This is the place for you,. Decor could do with an update as it's stuck in the 70's, but the staff are second to none for friendliness and will bend over backwards to help you. The copycat bands are brilliant.

    Although a little dated in appearance, Alfred's is a warm, inviting place to have a traditional roast dinner with family and friends. It offers buffet style meals, of which I am usually not fond, but I find there is a great deal of pride taken in the serving of the food, with the chef carving his meat for you. The food is all home made as well. I find it a stress free meal out with children as the venue is spacious and the children often play with other children on the dance floor or can explore the gardens. A great value way to dine at Alfred's is by buying a meal voucher on e-bay.
