Getting there was a nightmare, when I've finally arrived & looked at that dump I could not believe they call it a "day spa". Arrived right on time, no one was there. Rang them, a girl picked up the phone. She was very surprised, than apologetic after checking the appointment book. I've waited 15 minutes! no one turned up. Just as well. Had 15 min to look around. the place was dirty. Looking thru the window saw a horrid carpet, towels ect. Stay away!

Would NOT recommend Alisa day spa. To get to venue you need you car in low gear as a minimum, 4WD probably best, venue not well identified from road. Venue has limited parking and is shabby in appearance, doesn't get much better inside. Signage around rooms asking patrons to minimise talking to ensure next room is not disturbed - that's because the walls are only partial walls, not full, you can hear what is happening in the next room. Massage was more back rub, staff did not massage. Facial was quite pleasant, foot treatment was ok. Difficult to contact site to make appointments or ask questions. Fails as a day spa for me.

Bought a voucher for my wife for Valentines Day. We live in the Dandenongs and are used to dirt roads. But, how could anyone operate a "relaxation" day spa business from a place like this. To start, My wife asked a few questions when making an appointment on the phone of the "receptionist" and could not get many straight answers. So we decided to go and have a look at the place. You almost need a 4 wheel drive to get there. The view is great but that's not why you go there . The place was deserted and no one showed up whilst we were there. It is very run down. After looking in the windows we thought that the inside was little better than the outside. In the end we decided to just loose the money and not attend the appointment. My wife has been to a number of these types of places but never has experienced one as shabby. Fortunately I have an understanding wife. We have never written a review before but this was so bad that we thought that we should.

Just had a 2 +1/2 hour pamper. Massage, facial, and foot massage. Bliss!

Getting here was an adventure in itself, its the wrong side of a restricted road so a long trip around a winding road is needed to eventually end up in the right place. Walking up you're not really sure what you're in for. The surrounds are picturesque but the place itself isn't that nice. But really, you're not coming for the place, you're coming for the spa treatment & it does deliver. We got a voucher & it was great value, a nice, relaxing massage, followed by a great facial. Both of us fell asleep so relax us it did. The foot spa & massage was great too. The staff were nice, friendly & we walked out relaxed. Mission accomplished I reckon!

I booked a voucher as surprise my for my best friend for her birthday. I was pleasantly surprised on arrival to find such fantastic views and a cabin neatly tucked away. We were nicely greeted upon arrival by two professional staff members. The massage was so unbelivably good I fell asleep mid way. I was pleased at the fact the masseur focused on my problematic areas where my shoulders were quite tense. My friend mentioned they used great natural products and she had a very enjoyable facial which left her skin feeling great for a few weeks. I love the final touches they provided with tea and nibbles after the massage. I will definately be back, my friend was extremely happy with the present!

OH DEAR. how can they call this place a day spa? Difficult to access, difficult and limited parking, its a log cabin with no heating, old carpet, old towels, the walls don't reach the ceilings so we can hear everything in the next room and around the cabin. The massage tables are so uncomfortable, no pillow under my head, just a towel. The staff were very friendly and nice but unprofessionally dressed, wearing big fluffy socks. Their treatments were THE worse I've had and I've been to day spas around the world and Oz. The massage was terrible and the facial...shocking!!! they used what seemed to be wipes to remove make up, poor exfoliation, put a mask of some sort and left the room for what seemed ages (maybe they went for a tea break) and there was no facial massage and little moisturiser, hardly felt it. No eye cream applied. Walked out with my face feeling dry. The foot soak was ok and the foot rub again terrible. Will not be returning.

I have bought a voucher for a 2.5 hr massage for my lovely wife. Place is well hidden away and tricky to find, so allow plenty of time to get there.
Facility: run down old house, with little heating. 1/5 stars
Staff: very firendly and helpfull. 5/5 stars.
    Massage Quality: average 2/5 stars.
Cleaningless: The robe, which my wife was given to put on was not clean and had a used hanky :(( 0/5 stars.
In summary we would not recommend this place to others. Overall 2/5 stars from us.

I bought this as a present for my special other for Christmas last year. We were blown away, easy to get there, gorgeous views and we were greeted as soon as we arrived. The massage was so good not to mention the facial and foot spa. My partner even fell asleep. The lady who massaged me was by far the best massage I've ever had. She was not aware of my back issues and yet whilst massaging she was definitely focussing on this particular area (Aka she is definitely experienced). Now everytime I have spa/massage treatment elsewhere for a change, I always rate it against this experience. There have been some decent ones, but this is by far THE best.

My partner and I spent 2.5 hours at Alisa Day spa today and it was bliss, the massage was so good that I slept through most of it, (sorry for the snoring). The facial was lovely and the foot massage and soak was FANTASTIC. The directions given to us were a great help and the place was easy enough to find. The herbal tea at the end was the icing on the cake, well done girls. I could not have thought of a better way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
