We ordered a security door in November last yr, Alsafe promised that we would have it by Christmas. When they came out to install it the door was made much to small and didn't fit. The wouldn't admit it was there fault they said they had been shown a different door to measure when the came the first time so it was our fault it didn't fit. (As if they were showed the wrong door). After multiple phone calls and visits to their office they agreed to re do it. We still have not got our door, I called then in Jan and they said it will be ready by Feb. Yesterday I called and staff said they had seen it in factory and though it was almost ready and would confirm tomorrow. I didn't hear back so called them and they said they hadn't started the door yet as they couldn't get what they needed from supplier and have no idea how long it will take. 3 months and we still don't have our door. Be careful! -

We just recently have two security doors installed by them. The doors look great. And i also compared the price with the other suppliers. I chose to go with them because they offered best price.

Had many problems dealing with this company and could not get any of them resolved without resorting to using Dept of Fair Trading and even now I am not 100% happy.
Only one screen could be installed correctly on the day as all the measurements or the workmanship poor or the office staff made errors despite me triple checking.
Damage was made to my property due to the tradesman not cleaning up or putting down mats. Management would not talk about repairing my property until the bill was paid in full. We did not agree.
I wanted to discuss with the owner of the business - could only speak with 'Trish' who was so outright rude. Would only talk over me - screamed down the phone and accused me of not wanting to pay. Only once Dept of Fair Trading was involved did some form of resolution get reached. However, in return for the 'compensation' offered for my damaged floor, they refused to honor any warranty on the product. Surprise surprise, we have doors falling off and closers that have snapped but I can't use my warranty.
Was an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience and I still shudder when I see an AlSafe Van. -

This just doesn't happen every day - The sales guy was on time !!!
Got a great quote for their Stainless Steel mesh Security doors, they even keyed to my house at no charge.
Was hoping for Xmas delivery but was told on order it may not be till January.
"Surprise", they ended up installing the week before Xmas !!!!!
Very Happy with doors, installation & service.

9 months and 6 visits to my house later I now have a security door, they were rude about it to boot, their in your face arrogance and attitude to me makes me wish I'd read other peoples reviews from this site before ordering from them.
Visit # 1 - measure and quote, OK what can go wrong
Visit # 2 - 4 months and numerous calls (where's my door) after visit #1 and the door frame doesn't fit.
Visit # 3 - 6 weeks after visit # 2, the door is scraping the paint off the bottom hinge, when I suggest there's something wrong they ask if I'm being serious, ummm yeah.
Visit # 4 - The door is now installed and on an incredible angle, approx 1mm clearance above my step on the handle side and a good 10 to 12mm on the hinge side. When asked for payment (not asked if I'm happy BTW) I share my expectation of a level door, they tell me they've been doing this for 19 years and that's the best I'm going to get, hmmm would have thought you'd learn to get it right by now (I wish I'd said that ;-) they stormed off saying something like you'll never be happy...
Visit # 5 - Preceded by a phone call from the Alsafe office trying to bully me into paying for something I'm not at all happy with. They arrive and refuse to even try and adjust the door blaming the shape of my house, my assumption here is we're measured for a square frame / door to fit within a space and spacers put around to accomodate any shape, thanks for wasting my time again they leave saying they'll have to bring their boss out as I'm clearly impossible to please.
Visit # 6 - the boss arrives, I show them what I'd like fixed, they look at me quizickly and asks if that's all... 45 minutes later I have a door I'm happy with -

Their products are good, however customer service/follow up is SHOCKING in my opinion...Trish and Elise know what they are doing however other people we have been in contact with were rude. Half of our paperwork was lost initially which delayed things, and then when a call to confirm the number of flyscreens came, they had the wrong amount to install...
