This much-loved Italian bistro is going strong after more than two decades of service. Generous serves of home-style pastas such as the zingarella linguine with prawns in a chilli honey butter sauce or the robust rigatoni ragu with its rich, chunky veal meat sauce are deeply satisfying. Amalfi turns out arguably the best pizzas in the city. Italian classics with an Amalfi flavour include the saltimbocca alla Romana - pan-fried glazed veal topped with Parma ham and served with spinach and roast potatoes.

I went here for dinner last night and thought it was incredible. One of the best pizzas I have ever eaten. I ordered the Cardinale to share with my sister, and it was seriously delicious. Yummy thick bases and heaps of topping made for a really tasty dinner. I also tried the Americano pizza, which was also very good. My dad had the penne ragu, which came with lots of sauce (a must for pasta in my books), and lots of flavour, too. The service was attentive but not outstanding the place gets pretty busy so the waiters can be a bit run off their feet at times. It is near impossible to get into this place, so always make a booking in advance if you can. The atmosphere is loud and lively, just as it should be over delicious Italian food. The whole meal was also pretty well-priced, considering the very high quality of food youre getting.

they have really good pizzas with different flavours from other pizza places. it can get busy so if you're planning to come here, best to book beforehand. i haven't been disappointed with amalfi's so far.

Been several times and have had excellent meals each time......plenty on plate and just couldn't say no to the desert. Great service.

They aren't just a great pizzeria but their pasta menu is absolutely divine. Great atmosphere, great pizza, great menu and great company. What more can you ask for? great restaurant and I will definitely come here again and again and again.

This pizza's here are quick and yummy. A great pizza place plus lots of other superb dishes. Very busy, so as long as your prepared to wait over a nice bottle of wine. Very enjoyable meal that didn't hit the pocket too hard!

What a great place to eat, for atmosphere and buzz and the brilliant food this place has it all. The great location is also one of the good things about this place with parking across the road you wont have trouble getting here. Fantastic Pizzas and great Pasta dishes. Just love it.

Mmmmm, eating my way through the menu here, but my trick of two entrees isn't working, they are very generous. My friends say the tira misu is good, but i am always too full. Nice friendlly place, good service, if a bit slow when busy, but nice atmosphore.
