Located in Mooloolaba, the heart of Queensland's Sunshine Coast. Amanda Hair Design offers a fully relaxing experience where it's clients are indulged with a Shiatsu head massage and complementary refreshments. With great coffee, home made chocolates and a selection of herbal teas, our clients can enjoy themselves whilst their hair receives the treatment it deserves.

We are a Proffesional Hairdressing  Salon with  a Clear Mission Statement, Salon Policy and Procedure"s Manuel in Place,  So that our Salon runs Consistantly at a high level giving good Service to our clients. We are  Members of the Proffessional Hairdressing Organisation ACH- which stands for Australian Hairdressing Council  We have  a team of  Highly  skilled indiviudals who truly care and dedicate their time to their  Training and Their  clients. 

 All  staff attend Training in the  Salon on a weekly basis, this is to work on New Skils and develop exciting skills Amanda also attends regular training to keep up to date and is currently on a Ssession styling course  with Wella and Sebastion Education Team, Amanda  will be working closely with The current Austraian Hairdresser of the Year 2012  Joey Scandizzo.


Amanda has won many international awards in Australia and the UK for her work, she has trained with famous colour specialists Daniel Galvin, http://www.danielgalvin.com/ Also trained by Toni and Guy. We urge you to come and meet our well trained team.

    Hello again, I have now had two frizz free treatments with Amanda & Craig and I have to say I am so impressed with the results, usually in this humid sunshine coast weather my hair is a nightmare but both the Yuko,(my first treatment) and the Brazilian Cacau which I just had done on the 11th March have been fantastic. My hair is so easy to manage and no frizz at all and it feels amazing. I chose to try both to decide for myself which one was the best, and to perfectly honest I have to say both have delivered great results.
    Well worth getting the treatment if you have frizzy hair, and need easy manageability!!! Also adds great shine and silkiness to.
    Cheers to Amanda and Craig for recommending the treatments to me.
    Highly Recommend Amanda's Hair Design to anyone looking for that extra special hair salon.

    Since moving to the Sunshine Coast in December 2012 I have visited Amanda Hair Design twice and have left the salon feeling refreshed. The staff are welcoming & make you feel relaxed & comfortable while they work their magic. I have very thick hair & not once have they rushed or compromised on delivering quality hair. Keep up the great work :)

    It was my first visit at Amanda Hair Design a few days ago, and I could not be happier with the experience and the result. I had Craig, who made me feel so comfortable and the result on the day was even more perfect than what I pictured. Definitely would recommend to family and friends!

    I am so glad to have found such a great colourist after moving to the Sunshine Coast last year. Amanda gets a great shade for my blonde hair every time. It looks very natural and has held the colour for at least 8 weeks. I highly recommend Amanda.

    Having spent the majority of my life in Canberra and having the same hairdresser for years, I was faced with finding someone new when I moved to the Sunshine Coast last month. I visited Amanda's Hair Design last week and I couldn't be happier! Amanda herself coloured and cut my hair and I have received nothing but positive comments! My colour is the best I have ever had. Amanda's knowledge in colouring hair is unsurpassed!! I have no hesitation in recommending this salon to anyone looking for a fantastic hairdresser you will be totally happy with!! Thank you Amanda!

    So glad I found Amanda hair design online just after we moved here a month ago:). I took my 15 year old in today as she had wanted to get her dark brown hair done light to get that beachy blond look. Well I have never seen her hair colour look so nice, it's perfect and looks so natural. I would highly recommend Amanda hair design to anyone that is looking at getting their hair coloured or cut by an award winning hairdresser. It was worth making my girl wait to get it done right, can't get the smile of happiness off her face now:)

    I had my first appointment at Amanda Hair Design today, and I have to say it was fantastic! Such a friendly atmosphere and great knowledge on colour.
    A special thanks to Steve who did a fantastic job on my colour and an awesome cut to follow.
    I also received the best head massage from John, thank you for that.
    I have found the hairdresser I have been looking for!
    Well done to Amanda and the team.
    If you want someone who knows what they are doing with colour then the best advice I can give is to go see Amanda you will not be disappointed.

    The team at Amanda Hair Design are wonderful. I have never had so much care and attention put into my hair. The cut is the best I've ever had. I have short hair and no one has ever been able to get it just right until now. Usually there is no structure to my cuts so I have to keep getting it cut every few weeks but not this time it has lasted me 6 weeks!!! And the colour is spectacular they always do something a little bit different and funky. I will never change hairdressers. There is nothing like them in the Sunshine Coast. Thank you guys!

    Amanda and the staff at Amanda Hair Design are truly special! It is quite rare here to find a stylist so professional and so down to earth as Amanda and she really is so very very good at what she does! I had a complete colour change, from dark brown to auburn and I absolutely love it! I will be visiting again and again, see you soon Amanda and thank you again :)

    I have just had the best colour for my hair ever! I always thought it was my makeup that made me look pale & lacking life, only to find Amanda's expertise with colour has shown me that it was actually my hair colour. She spent time explaining what she would do and why and WOW the results are amazing. I am thrilled with the results and the hair cut has given my fine/dry hair new life. Going to a new hairdresser can be scary but I was made to feel very relaxed and confident with the expert advice that was given. The girls are lovely and the salon is in a great area with heaps of parking. Thank you Amanda Hair Design I am thrilled....finally found a great hairdresser who gives expert advice & ideas that are individual.

    When i went to the Award Winning Amanda Hair Design in Mooloolaba through my friend who told me how Amazing she is. Ive Found that Other Hair stylist just wants you in/out of the Chair as quick as they can, But Amanda makes you feel relaxed with a nice shiatsu Head massage & wash, I like the Complementary Wine & Chocolates. The place is always buzzing with Laughter, I left there feeling a Like a New Man. I'll be Back! With my Friends 10/10.

    I don't just trust anyone to cut my hair, but Amanda is FANTASTIC!!! Amanda and her staff are so friendly and professional and I have always left there feeling amazing. When I go to Amanda, I am always there to have a major hair makeover, and I could honestly be blindfolded throughout my whole appointment and know that when I see the final product, I will be thrilled.

    I love Amanda hair design. Amanda and the whole staff are absolutely lovely. I went into the salon having no idea of what I wanted, but Amanda sat down with and discussed options with me and she even considered my budget which was fantastic. She even took overtime to finish my hair so that I looked fabulous before I left. The end product was silky smooth hair and colour that looked great. Definitely returning and can't recommend Amanda and her staff more highly.

    Amanda is amazing. It took me ages to find a hairdresser on the coast that really is an 'expert' on colour. I love that my hair has gone from dry and bleachy, to fabulously coloured and conditioned. Can not recommend Amanda and her team highly enough.

    As a newcomer to the Coast I was looking for a decent salon to get a haircut. After searching on Google I found Amanda Hair Design, so I went down and I was thoroughly impressed with the service and the finished product.

    Friendly, laid back staff.... Complimentary refreshments and Great music!

    i am over for study from Hungary and after 6 months i felt i have to find a really good hairdresser and i always passed the salon and saw its pretty busy all the time. I wanted to have a little change but didnt know exactly how. I just asked Amanda and gave the best suggestion. She set me down and spent time discussing my hair needs with me and made me very comfortable. It is very welcomin salon and Amanda did a fantastic job with my hair.
