Amigos has been serving up traditional Mexican food for over 17 years and prides itself on using the freshest and finest ingredients available. All of the dishes are freshly prepared in the kitchen, free from artificial colours or preservatives and come with extra spices for those that like it hot or served with subtle spices for the less adventurous of us. An exotic list of cocktails complements the flavours of the food. Functions and group bookings are catered for. The outdoor dining area is the perfect place to try one of their special margaritas.

    Amigos is a great little place to visit with friends when you're in the mood for authentic mexican food and want to enjoy all the niceties of eating out. Great serving sizes so perfect for sharing in a group. An extensive range of cocktails and drinks which are an essential part to any mexican meal and a large, fairly comprehensive menu to boot. The old faves are there: tacos, burritos, fajitas, frijoles, plus a tasty selection of other dishes. The staff have been very friendly both times I've been there. The restaurant itself is a little narrow inside, but it's great if you can get a table outside especially in the summer. Situated on Melbourne's infamous, Chapel Street, you also won't be far from some of the greatest nighttime hotspots if you decide to kick on.

    When I'm in Melbourne I love to catch up with friends for a casual meal. I wish Sydney had an Amigos. The nacho's are great and easy to share and the taco choices (chicken, beef, bean) are a tasty follower. Last time I visited we had this crazy girl serving us who was friendly, quirky but very helpful. Have eaten here plenty of times and so far Amigos hasn't disappointed.

    Great atmosphere, fast service and good quality ingredients. A little on the expensive side for Mexican but it is really yummy. The staff are really friendly, and as i have lived in the area for a long time, i have been going there for ages. You come out very full and satisfied and can eat wisely for 2 for around $50.00
