Anchorage Holiday Park, quiet

The Anchorage Holiday Park is located on the outskirts of Iluka village and nestles against the southern perimeter of Bundjalung National Park. The park has a river frontage that provides easy access and spectacular views westward across the wide expanse of the Clarence River. 

Iluka is a sleepy coastal fishing village at the mouth of the Clarence River and is a haven for Australian fauna. Kangaroos and emus are a common sight as are many species of birds. Dolphins make their home in Iluka and are often viewed at play, either in the river or surfing the waves at the beach. 

Safe and comfortable fishing boats can be hired at very reasonable rates in Iluka, which also offers launching facilities for anyone bringing their own craft.  For those not interested in fishing, Iluka offers long stretches of unspoilt beaches and perhaps Australia's most accessible rainforest.
