When i was 16 Years old, i went to emergancy suffering from a Gall Stones Attack, They told me i had a tummy ache and to go home, i refused as i knew it wasnt a tummy ache and they did a urine and blood test and still sent me home telling me i was fine. Went to local GP who told me straight up i had Gall Stones and Ultrasounds confirmed. Either way Went back to Angliss to have them removed Couldnt be happier service whilst i was in for the week was spectacular, besides one nightshift nurse who had had a bad day and took it out on me coz i was continuosly throwing up. Im now pregnant with my first and going through the Family Birthing Centre, Couldnt be Happier, All the midwives are lovely and give me all the information i need and want. I have seen one Dr though and it seemed like she just wanted to do the paperwork and send me away, but i spoke to the midwife afterwards who helped me out. All in all i would say its a great hospital! And definatly recommend it!

When I arrived at the Angliss Hosp on 16 December 201 after suffering an axiety attack I was almost fully recovered. When I left 24 hours later I was a complete mess and don't look like getting over it soon.
The medical staff I saw was a complete disappointment. They did not allow me to complete responses and completely ignored any information I tried to give them. Tried to refuse my insulin dose well after it was due. They tried to get me to have an MRI even though I had a stent fitted and they sent me for a CAT Scan even after I informed them that I had had one less than 12 months ago which revealed nothing. They are now arranging more expensive neurology exams etc even though extensive investigations done already found nothing.

They are very caring at this hospital, especially if you are having a baby because the midwives are wonderful - I think it's the best place to go to if you're pregnant, they have antinatal educational classes and welcome dads always. The only problem is like most hospitals there is such a long waiting time in emergency, if you can help it I would see my local doctor first.
