I took my dog and her pups to the vet as they had the runs and were off their food. They took the temperature of 9 of the 11 pups and listened to the heart of about 4 of them. They did not know the exact problem but gave them a shot of antibiotics each. They only used the one syringe, and changed the needle between pups, they got 0.2 ml of antibiotic each. Then they did the same for the female canine. The bill when given at the end was for consult per puppy and the female canine had her own bill. The pups charges were $495 and another $155 for the female canine. They took $50 off when I questioned the cost of 2ml of a drug being $220. So $600 later, instructions for a bland diet for mum and no diagnosis I left. Later I was reminded that I had changed the milk of the puppies the day before and this was why they had the runs. No questions asked at the time of the "numerous consultations'" about the pups diet only the mothers.

I have had 2 experiences with them. Please get a quote for services BEFORE allowing them to see your animals. I think their charges are unreasonable. I even phoned their own afiliated Chelsea vet hospital and was quoted less than half of what I was charged for the consult (telling them that both pups and female canine had the rns and where off food). When I phoned and asked them about this discrepancy they said I was lying.
I will not be taking any of my numerous animals to them again.

Last Week, I made an appointment for Rosie (my maltese shitzu) to get desexed. Animal Care Veterinary Clinic, which in my honest opinion is the only Vet Hospital in Sydney which provided professional care for Rosie and reasonable prices for their Great Service!
Not only am I happy with their results in many aspects, they were presented on Channel Ten for saving the lives of two dogs, which police had brought to the Hospital as an Emergency on June 29, 2011.
Animal Care Veterinary Clinic has provided high standard level of care and dedicated services to many lucky clients. I am very pleased with this Vet Hospital and hope they persist in their services.
Rosie has never had any problems since we became a client of Animal Care Vet Clinic. She has been visiting regularly for a while now. Thank-You to the veterinarians and staff working there, I appreciate your help!

I must congratulate Animal Care Vet Hospital and their highly skilled staff for their tremendous effort in saving my dog's life. Bruce was in severe condition after being run over by a motorist near the highway at old age. I was worried about Bruce for a couple of days until I recieved a call from an Animal Care Vet Hospital Veterinarian, when they notifed me of the incident, condition and details about what happened to Bruce. I knew straight away when they contacted me that this was accurate information. One of the Senior Veterinarian surgeons told me that this was an emergency, and if it was possible for me and my family to visit Animal Care Vet Hospital immediately. Luckily, i was free, and rushed to their hospital which i must say was unique and different to ALL of the Veterinary Clinics I've taken my pets to. Animal Care Vet Hospital, was equipped with the most advanced resources available that I knew of. As, I entered Animal Care Vet Hospital, one of the Nurses directed me to the Emergency Section and I was glad to see Bruce recovering in stable condition under strict surveillence by the Veterinary Surgeon. I must say, when I gave permission for my dog to undergo all examinations, X-Rays etc. it was relieving to see that Animal Care Vet Hospital had taken much pride and priority over Bruce since he was in emergency and that i must congratulate this Vet for her highly skilled and professional treatment for Bruce. Ever since this incident, i have taken all my other pets to Animal Care Vet Hospital regularly and they are all in perfect health condition. The prices are less costly then many of the Veterinary Clinics i've visited. Animal Care Vet Hospital is professional and caring for animals. The Veterinary Surgeons are highly skilled and are enthusiastic professionals who succeed in what they achieve. I definitely recommend all pet owners to visit Animal Care Vet Clinic! Thank-you so much Animal Care Vet Clinic for your help to all my pets.

Additionally, I must compliment Animal Care Vet Hospital for their new location at 118 Flushcombe Road Blacktown! The clinic has the BEST resources I've seen in comparison to ALL the Vets ive been previously. Animal Care Vet Clinic has produced major surgeries and operations which I find spectacularly amazing. Both Senior and Junior Veterinarians have produced the best and essential treatment for me, my family and all my friends who bring their pets all the time. The Nurses there, have helped my family out a lot and many other families I personally know of that are have been regular customers for many years. Personally, I think that Animal Care Vet Clinic has a strong passion for helping and caring for animals and this is shown by every single staff member working there.
Prices are spectacularly cheaper, enthusiastic and caring staff members, high tech resources, treatment for many kinds of animals/pets, skilled professional Veterinary Surgeons and Nurses, pristine & much more =)

We have been going to this vet for quite a few years now (and are very happy with the service), and since my dog is getting quite old he has been making frequent visits to this vet. Recently, my dog took a turn for the worst and it was recommended that we could either euthanise him or he could undergo major surgery. We got a few opinions from other vets and most said that euthanising him would be the only option, however we didn't want that to happen (as this vet said that major surgery could be a possibility). We ended up going for the surgery (which was very successful), and now our dog is still with us! We are very impressed by the quality of the service and follow up care. Also the price was much cheaper than expected! If you are looking for a friendly, caring and qualified vet, this is a great place to go to!

I was not very impressed by this vet, they charged $1200 for 5 days care and they seemed confused by what was wrong with my cat and tended to give different explanations as what was wrong with him and then when i went to collect him, he was not ready to be taken home and she tried to overcharge me... Next time i will travel the hour or so to a different vet.

My cat was run over [By me :( ] resulting in a broken leg and ruptured diaphragm, took the vet 24hrs to strap up the leg and only did it after I questioned why it wasn't. My poor Boy was struggling for breathe for 2 days due to his injuries and surgery was scheduled 48hrs after admittance [He wouldnt have survived the Aenesthetic earlier she said], then postponed til the morning, so she force liquid fed him, Rang me up and told me he coughed up, tried to scratch her and jump off the table after she liquid fed him. That's because if you breathe in and the liquid goes in the wrong hole, THAT Happens, but she reckoned he didn't choke, well yeah, Come off it, you drowned him, he suffered for 2 days struggling to breathe for this to happen, No surgery was done, and it cost me a shocking $1300.
Far from impressed and wont let any of my pets go there again!

I was the vet nurse working at animal care veterinary clinic during the days that your boy was with us. He came to us in a very bad condition (crushed by a car) and we did every thing we could for him, the veterinarian and myself spent many hours with him. We did not undergo surgery because he was so unstable it would have almost certainly caused death, so we did our best to stabilise him first. We fed him only a minute amount of food, less than half a ml. He did not choke to death or drown at all, he passed away almost 2 hours after the feeding, due to his lungs and internal organs being crushed and he had great difficulty breathing. I feel deeply offended by your comments and do not think it is fair to say those things. We did everything we possibly could for your boy but unfortunately that was not enough. Animal care veterinary clinic always strives for the best of the animal but unfortunately some cases end sadly. We offer our deepest condolences to you and your family.

It didn't take 2hrs after the feeding as surgery was Sheduled for 8pm, but then postponed til the morning, if it would have been done atleast he wouldn't have suffered and gone quietly, I got the call about 7:45 to say that Surgery would be post poned and then the call just after 8 to say that she tried to feed him and he coughed tried to scratch her and jump of the table and didn't make it. He was still alive before she liquid fed him between 7:45 and 8pm. That is not 2hrs. And the way that she explained how the oeophagus must have somehow leaked into the lung, then that liquid must have somehow leaked through the stomach into the lungs, Exploritory surgery would have stopped his suffering and found a solution if it was possible to save him or not.She couldnt do surgery til bloods came back clear- they did, then she couldn't do it til something else, and something else. $1300 is a rip off for 48hrs. I can delete the review, but But he died minutes after the feeding, not hours.

In regards to the crushed by car, His LEG is what I had run over, not his body.. He did also have a damaged Diaphragm somehow from it, but he wasn't crushed
