Arrived at my appointment at 5:45 and was immediately taken for my hair to be washed, this would have to be about the first time I've seen a hairdresser meet an appointment time. Paid $40 for a men's cut, got the hair washed cut and styled. Result was quite good and I've certainly paid much more for the same service and result. I'll certainly be going back.

This salon was recommended for a colour and trim for my wedding this Saturday as unfortunately my normal hairdresser wasn't available. The staff were enthusiastic & friendly to book me in - really talked up the hair dresser and booked me in easily. (This was a sign I should've seen!) The hairdresser seemed knowledgeable and spoke of all the places she'd worked and wedding hair she'd done. I told them I liked my style & colour and just wanted a trim and freshen of the colour. They then proceeded to turn the trim of long hair into a mullet cut with a long fringe - ruining the style and the simple updo planned for the wedding. They darkened the blonde to red-brown! I was in shock & in tears. They were insistent that she could still do something with it & wanted me to come back on my wedding day! When I got home everyone asked what had happened to my hair and highlighted that the colour was uneven - darker in the front than the back. When we tried different styles of what might still be possible - patches of hair colour had totally been missed throughout the back section!!!!! We rang them & were able to come back in the next day. They acknowledged the poor colour job & redid it and apologised for the cut & wedding hair debacle. Although they originally agreed to give me a full refund, on the day THEY JUST AGREED NOT TO CHARGE FOR THEIR REPAIR JOB!!! They only VERY reluctantly gave me a refund for the hair cut.
