Rang and booked a callout with Apex based on the reviews here. Nice on the phone so we set it up for an afternoon to fix our unit. The staff turned up later then promised with no apology. Actually rang the head office to check on where they were at. Turned up for 5 minutes, said they couldn't do the job but would provide a quote when they went back to the office. Also promised that the $100 fee for the 5 minutes would be deducted off the next job (after all they hadn't fixed anything!) - this was written down on the invoice when I made the payment. After waiting a week for the quote, rang Apex for the quote. It was emailed with no split between time and materials or when this work would be able to be done so I had to ring back to understand what was actually being quoted. After some clarifications (hours quoted were more than what the first staff had said during the visit)...I asked if my initial $100 would be deducted. I was told "no" even though that was promised and written down in the invoice as it was part of the standard call out fee.

All together a very disappointing experience and I would not recommend Apex to anyone. Persisted with them through a number of difficult situations:
- late to appointment
- couldn't fix the job first time
- lack of detail/ information on the quote
- reneged on the promise to discount the initial payment.

  At Apex we strive for customer satisfaction. It is unfortunate that this client is dissatisfied however we do not feel that we are at fault in this instance.
  
  It is quoted when any new enquiry comes through to our office, that our service call out fee is a minimum of $170 + GST. This covers the first hour onsite and any additional time is billed in half an hour blocks. We charge the same service fee across the board, whether you be a Strata client, a commercial client, residential, builder or otherwise. This is standard practice across the air conditioning industry.

  As a measure of good will, Apex reduced the cost of the call out fee to $100 inc GST, a saving of $87 to which the client agreed suitable. (Note, still awaiting payment). It was explained that a quotation would be submitted as non standard had to be ordered directly from the supplier. As anyone can imagine, it is near impossible to diagnose a fault without first inspecting the site. It is extremely difficult to stock all spare parts for all brands and models of air conditioners.
  We are not able to establish the fault without first attending site, therefore our service fee is applicable to all clients.

  Once the client received the quote he called our office requesting a further discount of $100.00.
  Apex was again, happy to oblige the negotiated $100 discount off the repairs quote providing that the initial $100 call out fee was paid for first. We cannot put forward a formal discount until this fee is paid, which is why it has not yet been reflected in the repair quotation.

  As another gesture of good will, our sales representative explained that should we do the works in less time than allocated, we would reduce the quote further. This was unfortunately not suitable for our client and the above review is the result.
  
  Upon reading this review our service manager attempted to make contact with Mark to try and resolve the issues. Unfortunately he has not returned our call.
  Apex has met this client more than half way, and it is most regrettable that we cannot come to a mutual agreement or understanding with regards to this matter, as Apex is 100% committed to providing quality service and very competitive pricing. We wish this client all the best and hope he gets a satisfactory service from another company for the price he is willing to pay.

Rang and made an appointment for a new airconditioner and was given a time between 2-5. Waited all afternoon and no one showed. When I rang the next day to ask why they could give no reason. Sigh!!!

We have just recently installed a LG window type air-con in our shop through Apex and we are very satisfied. Everything from the initial quote to actual booking was done promptly with ease and no delay. Installation guys are very friendly and helpful. Would not doubt recommending Apex to all business owners who need air-con ready in time for summer.

Just have a Daikin Ducted Air Conditioning System installed by Apex, and the prcing is good, and installation process is very smooth, and the installation staff and the boss of Apex is very professional and friendly, and after installation service is prompt fast and good, Definitely worth recommendation to family and friends.

We just used Apex to install a split system in my one bedroom apartment. The quote was significantly cheaper than the competition and the whole process was very easy! Easy payment options & very friendly & professional staff. The tradies did an exceptional job. Looking forward to a COOL summer!

We used Apex air-conditioning to install a ducted system throughout our house. Dealing with the Apex team was a smooth process from start to finish. They were friendly and professional which was a nice change to other tradespeople and the knowledge and advice on offer was exceptional.
The finished product looks great, runs perfectly and our house was left clean and tidy.
I thoroughly recommend using Apex.

I used Apex to have a twin head split system installed in my investment property and the service and install was great. Done all over the phone/email, from the quote process to install, Apex dealt with my Property Manager and Tenant to find the best suitable time to quote and install. The administration from Melanie was amazing and my tenant only had kind things to say as the crew cleaned and removed all rubbish when the install was complete.
I would highly reccommend Apex to anyone need residential Aircon installed.

Apex Airconditioning are great to deal with! We had ducted air-con installed in our home by Apex. The initial consultation was great as it was informative & easy to base our decision to proceed and they were competitively priced. Installation went smoothly with no fuss which is great as we have 2 youngsters. Their ongoing servicing & maintenance is exceptional.
I have recommended Apex air conditioning to my family & friends & they too have used Apex's services and are equally as satisfied as we are.
I Highly recommend Apex air conditioning! Great work guys!

I first dealt with Apex about 2 years ago when I had my air conditioner serviced. They were efficient, came when they said they would and knew what they were doing. About a year later when I renovated my home, I needed my system upgraded. I contacted Apex and long story short - the whole system went in smoothly, they were competitive with their price and very knowledgible with regards to products available and assisted with any queries I had (and I had many) They now maintain my new ducted system and I have never had any probelms. Highly recommended. A++

Apex Airconditioning were great & professional to deal with from beginning to end.

They promptly attended my clothing shop for a service and fixed the problem my airconditioner had, that 3 other companies couldnt fix !!
The technician really knew his trade and it basically was just a pleasure dealing with them. Highly recommend
