    Very rude, very bad service.
    They dropped car off 2 hours late (which we had to pay for) and with very little fuel in it.
    Took 3 months to recover my deposit which was not returned in full, after the car was dropped off on time, clean with the same amount of fuel. Be careful.

      With regards to our renter who posted this review of our business, this is review is not true at all, with regards to delivery and pick up service we offer, we inform the clients there can be delay's due to traffic conditions, road works or weather etc, how can the rental car be dropped off 2 hrs late and the client had to pay for this? this is totally untrue, the rental agreement time starts when the client takes possession of the rental car. This client did not complain once to us with regards to our service? not once, they were very happy with our service and rental rates. This client received the rental car with a full tank of fuel upon delivery, so again i do not understand this review at all? With regards to this renters rental deposit, the deposit was returned to the client less any admin charges for fines, toll notices, speeding tickets, the client is liable for these costs as per the signed rental agreement, the client must pay for tolls and speeding fines, common sense!

    RATES GOOD,VEHICLE GOOD,FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT POOR.
    RETURNED VEHICLE IN PERFECT CONDITION,NO TRAFFIC FINES,NO TOLLS OWING,AND ALSO HAD THE CAR CLEANED,BUT 7 WEEKS LATER,STILL WAITING FOR MY $500 DEPOSIT REFUND. I WENT HOME INTERSTATE AFTER RETURNING THE VEHICLE,AND HAVE HAD TO CALL THEM CONSTANTLY ABOUT THE DEPOSIT.
    IT'S A SHAME,THEY HAVE A CHANCE TO BUILD A GOOD BUSINESS,I HAD NO PROBLEM WITH THE CAR AND THE SERVICE.

      This renter was happy with the service and the rates, the refund has been processed back to the client, there was a processing delay as the client had returned the car and parking fines had started to be sent to the company, the client is responsible for all parking fines while car is in their care, the bond has been refunded less the costs of the fines as per the terms of the rental agreement which the client signed and agreed to. The client was fully aware that we were holding the security bond to cover any other fine violations that may happen to appear, as the fines issuing authority do have a back log and can be delayed in issuing them to the car rental firms, this is not in our control. If the company was wrong in this situation we would not post a comment on this review.

    Bad car hire company . So many other complaints found after I encountered my problems. Rude, Security deposit STILL has not been refunded and it has been a week. The staff who answers the ALL phone numbers Bankstown Strathfield, Mosman, Melbourne, etc. The car was returned spotless and clean. They have not refunded the holding deposit. I have hired cars from all other more reputable companies and the refund is credited back on the same day. Many reviews on the web state same and similar stories. DO NOT USE ASCOT CAR RENTALS.

      The Client returned the car with no fuel? they were aware that they had to return the car with a full tank of fuel upon return. This client who wrote this review never encountered any problems with Ascot Car Rental, she was a happy client and we went out of our way for her, we reduced the holding deposit by 50% to help at the start and when she returned the car we refunded her security bond immediately and she was given a copy of the refund docket, the refund was instant! i do not understand how she wrote a negative a review about the company? we only looked after her, we really went out of our way to help her. I have to post this comment on her review as the general public should know the truth and if the company was wrong in any way i would not post this comment, the truth must be stated and we only helped this client and we the proof, the refund docket is electronic and it states the refund action date.

    I rented a car with Ascot, returning it in clean and in good condition. They then charged a cleaning fee, even though the person that collected it agreed it was not dirty.
    It has been 8 weeks since the car was returned to them, but they have used my bank account details in the last few days. I have spoken to my bank who are investigating.

      The client who wrote the review, is totally incorrect. The car was not clean. It was filthy. He had the option to clean the car before we picked it up. He was also charged $55 for a fine admin. He went thru the toll without paying for it. He should have made arrangements and paid the toll prior to him leaving the country. He has agreed to the terms of the rental agreement. He even sent us abusive emails. We are not in the wrong. The client never called our office. It was okay when he booked the car, he got the best deal in Sydney on a new car but he abused the deal. Returned the car filthy and had unpaid fines. How is that Ascot Car Rentals fault?
