    Couldn't agree more with the lovely words of the previous reviewer! I've only started shopping at Ashgrove Fresh Fruit Market during the last few months but I would never go back! I've noticed a big difference in not only the quality and taste of the fruit and veg, but how long it lasts as well. Their mushrooms are unbelievable and the value for money is fantastic. I usually spend around $40 and come out carrying about 5 full, heavy bags of fresh fruit and veg!

    FANTASTIC FOR FRESH FRUIT AND VEGGIES!!!

    Up until the last 2 years I'd ALWAYS been a supermarket shopper and didn't really see why you would go elsewhere for your fresh items. Then I went over to the fruit shop at Ashgrove........

    The quality of the fruit and vegetables available at this place is unbelieveable!!! I really noticed it with the fresh herbs - they actually smell and taste the way they should, and they're not half-wilted like they are at so many supermarkets. Items like raspberries and strawberries are always fresh too - something you don't get consistently in the supermarket.

    They also have a pretty good range of gourmet treats like dips, sauces and cheeses. The bread is very reasonably priced as well. I've also found it convenient to pick up items like noodles, canned beans and canned chopped tomatoes.

    Ashgrove Fresh Fruit Market is well worth a visit if you want to get some flavour into your home cooking.

    The only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars is due to one of the staff members. She often has something negative to say about current events or things that have happened in her life at the time.
