A little oasis in the city, overlooking the sparkling lights of the office blocks, is perfect for an after-hours drink.
Going for a drink after work is all about one thing. Not being at work. The idea of a cold one or a strong one or a passionfruit, mango, vodka, lime juice, brown sugar and paper umbrella one after you knock off can help those last few work hours fly by. So one wonders why you would call your bar @work. Who wants to be reminded of the very thing they've just escaped? Is it a little joke by the bar owners? Some linguistic mischief provoking hours of hilarious mobile phone misunderstandings and japery? Imagine the scene: Mobile phone rings. Employee at bar: "Hello, Brian speaking." Boss at other end of phone line: "Brian, where are you?" Employee: "I'm at work." (Muffled sound of suppressed giggling from nearby colleagues.) Boss: "Oh right, excellent." Employee: "I'm at work, doing a late shift on level 8." (Muffled giggles becoming red-in-the-face, fist-in-mouth hysterics.) Boss: "Well done. See me tomorrow about ... wait, there is no level 8 ... Brian? Brian." ...
