Our house is completely transformed by the job that Attentive did for us at the end of last year. As we weren't sure about the final choice of colour we went with Robin's suggestion - he obviously just knows which colours are going to work and which won't. The guys who did the painting were great, really considerate and hardworking. All in all it was a dream job and I'll be using them in the future.-

We renovated our queenslander in Indooroopilly and were very pleased with the service from Attentive Painting and Decorating. Robin and Janelle provided an excellent quote, fitted in with the timing of our project, and we were presented with a beautifully painted house on completion. Where some touching up was needed later this was done without hesitation. We greatly appreciated their professionalism and friendliness at all times.

This is a belated review as the work was completed over 12 months ago, but we are very happy with the work done and there have been no suprises down the track. Robin was on site the day the work commenced and on the day the work was finished to make sure we were happy. The team that did the work were courteous, cleaned up after themselves, and made sure my dogs didn't get out (and they even brought food for them during smoko!). Importantly all the little details were looked after and the finish was great. I'd happily recommend them. -

We found Robin and Janelle on TrueLocal. We were provided with a very reasonable quote just a couple of day after we contacted them. The work was of a very high standard. They spent a lot of time in preparation and their finishing work was of a high standard. There free colour consulting service was also very helpful. Mal and Pat were very obliging in implementing the work. It was refreshing to deal with tradesmans who wanted to do a good job and have a happy client. Rob and Warren did a great job on our unit complex. They were efficient, very friendly and considerate of the needs of the tenants in order to get the job done. They did a few extra things that weren't quoted to make sure everything looked good and matched.
The transformation is amazing and the colour consultant selected a wonderful colour combination. -

They managed to complete the painting of the outside of house in a professional manner with attention to detail despite being hampered by a week of rain. The painters were considerate and cleaned up after themselves. Excellent colour consultant associated with the business - took the risk out of picking a new colour for our house. I recently bought an old house which desperately needed a new paint job.
A girl friend had Attentive Painting paint her house and she was very happy with the job they did,and she recommended them to me , you know what they say about word of mouth!!
Attentive painting came when they said they would , they even came to suit my work hours, the job was finished when they said it would be , they gave me great advice on paint types, colours and cost They cleaned up after themselves, the painters were very friendly and efficient.

Attentive has just finished painting our house, and unfortunately the quality of the work was extremely variable, and seemed to depend on which person was responsible for each piece of work.
The internal ceilings (which we had replastered) look great, and, in general, the external weatherboards were done well. However, the internal painting we had done in the master bedroom and on the window architraves was very disappointing. No or minimal preparation or puttying was done, meaning that chips in the old paint could be clearly seen through new paint, and we expect the paint will begin to flake much earlier than it should. The clean up on the internal painting was also woeful, with drips of paints left on window panes and some painted surfaces clearly not even given a second coat. To be fair, after we pointed out these issues, Attentive returned to do the clean up we asked for, but very little could be done about the lack of preparation before the painting.
After seeing so many positive reviews on TrueLocal, I suspect that Attentive tried to take on too many jobs at once (I understand they had 8 jobs on at the same time as our job and there were 3 new employees working on our house at one point) and the quality of work on our house has suffered as result. If you are considering using Attentive, I would make sure that one of the two Robins will be working on your house for the entire job.

Thanks for your excellent work in painting the inside of our house. It all looks lovely and, while a home invasion lasting a week cant be anything but disruptive, we really appreciated that the guys were very pleasant to have around ... always courteous, helpful and willing to fit in with our routines. They made the whole experience as easy as possible for us.
Were very happy with the result and would recommend Attentive Painting & Decorating to anyone. In fact, well definitely be using your services again.

The job done was perfect, but how they did it was equally impressive - turned up when they said they would, really pleasant guys to have around the house while they were there, never imposed themselves on the normal running of the household, cleaned up after themselves and left NO mess, no butts in the garden or anything like that - not one problem at any time. Happy to recommend Robin and his band of merry men!-

A big thank you to Robin and the team at Attentive Painting and Decorating. Excellent service, on time everyday and very professional service. As the business states, Robin was very attentive to detail and the level of care and attention given to painting the interior of our home was second to none. We would have no hesitation in recommending Robin and his team to family and friends. I would also like to send a big thank you to Johanna Sarela the wonderful colour consultant. The colour scheme is fantastic! I never would have come up with two of the colours chosen and to have Johanna as part of the experience was just the icing on the cake. Once again, thank you all so much, our home is now a pleasure to be in. -

Our lower floor of house was flood affected. Extensive repairs and repainting needed to be done to all walls, architraves,cupboards. Robert and Robin and their team did an exceptional job. The cost was reasonable, their service excellent and the work was done in a very friendly and efficient manner. I would have no hesitation in recommending their services to anyone. If I need any similar work done in the future (hopefully not flood related) I will certainly get them to do it.
