    Has definitely improved from a few years ago when it was a seedy old pub on the corner. Looking rather schmick they've decided to utilise all levels. Heading straight upstairs is your best bet, especially in summer. Only ever been there on Friday nights - lots of office workers trying to forget the week they've just had.

    We had several drinks at this hotel and had an absolute ball. Champagne at a great price and the beer great also. We sat in the wee hours at this hotel, talking to the locals from Ireland and England, we had a great night. The barman ( Tigers fan ) was friendly and supplied top service. Didnt notice the music thing as we had entertainment provided by the Irish lad and his english mate and girlfriend. Great stories, top atmosphere, will be back next Cricket season.

    Yer definately ok place to have a drink after work. However I would suggust they look at putting on some decent or funky music to get the crowd happy. Even a juke box, just anything that gets us all excited. I really fell like good music is missing.

    Good place to have a drink after work especially in summer with the roof top outdoor area. I believe they have long opening hours but it is not a place I would make an effort to go to, I go as it is convenient and close to work. The food is not very good.

    this is a great local pub, especially for a friday night after work! the upstairs area has been done up quite nicely and the food is pretty good too - love the schnitzel, chips and gravy!~!

    This Hotel after its refurbishment is well worth the vist. Great bars over three levels. Happy Hour 5-7 pm mon-fri. Cheers!

    Recently refurbished after a number of years of construction this place is now massive, Though it feels a little like a RSL it has three levels to wander around. One thing that did strike me was the massive amount of TV's on that walls. Not a whole lot of character.

    I used to go to the Aurora regularly in the early morning when the only part open by that time was the pokie den. Since then it has been completely renovated and refurbished. I recently visited for the first time since the refurbishment and have to say it's a much nicer late night venue than it used to be. They even keep the outdoor smoking section open until about 1 or 2am. The other patrons seemed like regular people and anyone who was too drunk was not served making for a pleasant experience unusual to early morning pubs in the area.
    The bottle shop also has good specials.
