    Got them to installed a hot water system for my new house. Initial Installation was good but it went downhill from there.

    Straight after the pipes were vibrating and shaking the walls when using the hot water. Called them to come back and take a look thinking it was part of the after sales service - took them 6 days to come back and they charged me $110 to change a washer that took 10 minutes to do! When I tried to discuss the misunderstanding and that I would of done it myself if I knew the cost they were rude and would not listen.

    Would not go with them again unfortunately.

      Hi james_g's... Our policy at Australian Hot Water when contracted by a client that may be building a new home is we are only responsible for the warranty on work that we have first quoted and then undertaken. As our warranty states - all other plumbing ,electrical etc and or house hold fixtures that we did not supply would not be our responsibility. Although this instruction would have been discussed with you before any after sales service and agreed apon before any return visit to your home.Vibrating pipes in walls that we would not of supplied or installed and or internal tap ware if being a new home, would be the responsibility of your builder and or his contractors. As for not responding for 6 days if you would like to contact our office so we can investigate the reason if any. James as you would be aware some media can be used in a targeted manner to manipulate one side of a story only.
      Sorry you feel let down.
