    I booked my husband's vehicle in for a service and a pink slip, and told the person on the phone what I needed, and why. They asked if they could have the car all day - and I explained that the vehicle needed to be registered that day in NSW, so it would need to be ready well before RTA closing time. Partner took the vehicle in at 8am sharp as booked, and conversed with the technician. Spoke with the person (who can recall the conversation) and told them they needed a service as well as a pink slip as well as needing the vehicle ready as soon as practicable. Partner gets told it should be ready 'soon'. He calls at lunchtime (approximately 1:15pm), and is told that they have only just started his vehicle. They call him just before 4pm to let him know it's ready. Partner goes to pay, and asks for the pink slip. "What pink slip? You weren't booked in for a pink slip" is the response. Extra time fooling around getting this paperwork sorted then. Partner then discovers that one of the brake lights isn't working - despite being charged for this being found and fixed. Takes it back, and the tech says it's fixed, despite the obvious fact that the brake light doesn't work.
