have eaten here for dinner for several years now, as are never disappointed, not regularly as we dont live in area, but whenever we are out that way or thinking of somewhere we know has great food .we are on their mailing list so get regular SMS updates of offers including birthday discounts. we finally took them up on the birthday discount which is so unusually generous.. firstly you have 10 days to use it (rather than just on the day of your birthday, like most other cafe offers) and they offer up to 3 free meals (entree, main AND dessert) when you dine with another paying person. so not just EITHER a free entree/main OR dessert but all 3 free as long as your fellow diner pays for an entree, main and dessert! (6 dishes for the price of 3 or 50% of food) we both chose the seafood marina ($28) as we recalled how well the seafood is done and sampled a dessert this time "chocolate and hazelnut creme brulee with coffee ice cream" which was rich but really delicous (great combination of coffee, chocolate and hazelnuts). it seems a bit pricey for $14 initially when you order it, but the serving size is very generous and it is more than enough to share between 2. staff are so friendly, welcoming and genuinly interested in your satisfaction there with food, service and comfort, (even offering to adjust various blinds, shade sails, heaters if you look chilly, sun in eyes, etc). not the cheapest place around but food,,coffees and service is so good. hard to park nearby at times due to area but worth the effort. -
I love Babble. I knew i would even before I went in. You only have to drive past on a Saturday to see how many people have made it their regular brunch place. It's an incredibly cute cafe with inside and outside eating. If you're lucky enough to get there early enough to get a spot outside, it's like eating on your own verandah - busy but relaxing at the same time. The lunch menu is extremely extensive complete with an assortment of baguettes, rolls, sandwiches, foccacias - the list goes on. After much deliberation, I opted for the turkey baguette. The bread was extremely fresh and while I said I would only eat half, i managed to get through the entire thing without hesitation - I couldn't stop! Coffees are great and the service was good also. If you're looking for great atmosphere or a cool spot to impress friends, this is the place! -
A cosy little spot to enjoy charming decor and excellent service, while tolerating tiny servings and steep prices. The food is indeed good - and the staff will gladly do custom-orders (such as garlic-free bruschetta!), but there is not a wide range of meals to choose from, and the prices suit the trendy location far better than they suit the miniscule servings. Due to financial circumstances, I will not be back until I have another discount coupon; however, I do recommend Babble to those who care more about atmosphere than value. -

yummy food, seafood is delicous, eg scallops not soaked in milk, just char grilled as should be.
