The Ballarat Centre of Music and the Arts has been offering excellent tuition in Dance, Drama and Music since 1995. With 31 professional instructors, we are able to provide the style, level and standard that you are after.

Dance styles include: Classical Ballet (Cecchetti Method), Jazz (ATOD Syllabus,) Hip Hop, Contemporary/Lyrical/Neo,Tap & Musical Theatre.

Drama include: Film and TV, Theatrical and Music Theatre (which includes units of dance, drama and voice training), Audition Preperation, Performance Techniques & Acting

Music classes include: Piano, Guitar, Violin, Bass Guitar, Saxophone, Flute, Percussion, Drums + more

Voice styles include: Classical, Jazz, Contemporary, Songwriting, VCE Studies, VET Studies, Audition Preperation, Musical Theatre. Exams in the AMEB Syallbus are offered for Voice & Piano

Our signature Pre-school classes in music and dance provide strong foundations in both disciplines and are run by experienced professionals.

Our Adult Classes and Well Being Challenges are popular, for beginners or advanced performers!

Examinations in AMEB, Cecchetti, CSTD and ATOD methods offered and preparation for Auditions, Competitions and Eisteddfods well catered for.
Past students have gone on to further study at VCASS, Musical Theatre Degrees, the Australian Ballet School, Todd Patricks Studios, The Ministry of Dance, The National Theatre etc
