After having a good impression on my first visit, Balsamic has gone downhill ever since. Like some of the other reviewers, we have often had to get up and ask staff to come and serve our table, then have proceeded to wait for meals that take forever to come out. There always seems to be plenty of staff on the floor, but they just don't seem to be serving anyone! The food was also very disappointing, so we won't be going back. -

Looks like a really nice place however I'm divided on how great this place can actually be. The staff are very friendly and are always on the floor however a few simple things made my experience not so memorable. We had to ask for lunch menus even after our drinks had arrived. We both ordered from the specials menu toasted salmon/roast vegetable focaccia with side chips and aoli. The chips were fantastic but no aoli and the wholemeal bun (not focaccia bun) was not toasted so the fillings were cold. Like I said, simple things but a large impression that was not so good. -

I have been to Balsamic a few times and I always enjoy myself.
I am a very picky eater and there is always something on the menu i can sink my teeth into, i particularly recommend the pasta dishes.
Having the option to sit and eat outside is also great for the smokers.
Also a great place to have a quiet drink in the bar before heading on to the movies. -
I've always enjoyed heading to Balsamic with friends to catch up for dinner or just drinks in the lounge. The mini menu in the lounge is cheap and easy for sharing. (try the pizzas!) It's convenient and abit of a 'hub' for us as eating goes hand in hand with shopping! I've never had any issues with the food and the service is usually good. The staff always seem to be smiling and apologetic if anything does go wrong. Which is rare, but really, why are we setting the standard so high? :)
I'll always be coming back for more and I hope everyone will give it a go. Make sure you book ahead! -
Overall a very poor showing. A group of 10 arrived at 6.45 pm. A few of us had entrees, which took some time to arrive. Later our mains were all ordered at the same time. 7 out of 10 got their orders. The other three of us remained waiting for our mains till well after the other seven finished theirs. When our orders finally arrived, others were eating dessert. One of the late orders was also incorrect (thai beef salad ordered without cucumber, was served WITH cucumber). No drinks or desserts were offered and no discount was offered despite three of the ten meals being served almost an hour after the others.
Will not be going back.
