    There aren't that many great Indian places in Bondi, so this is my standard go-to place when in the mood for a curry. The set-up is pretty basic, with some sparse but clean and tidy tables inside that I rarely see anyone occupying, but Balusu's does a pretty roaring trade in takeaway and delivery. The curries are good, accessible Northern Indian dishes like butter chicken, lamb rogan josh and palak panner, so nothing ground breaking or particularly new, but they do them all really well. They also deliver and are extremely polite and friendly (and awesomely speedy with the delivery times), so it's a nice neighbourhood local to have. The naan and lassis are good, but to be honest, you don't really need anything but a curry and rice, as the servings are really generous and the food is filling. Everyone in the area knows Balusu's well and it's a rusted favourite with a lot of locals I know, so you know you're going to get consistently good food and service here.
