Have noticed a few pubs in and around Sydney are serving dumplings rather than your standard meat and veg options. You'll find Bamboo in the back room of the William Wallace Hotel, which out the front still maintains its old school pub charm.
All the dining options are delicious, but you could just gorge yourself on dumplings alone without trying the duck, squid, greens and more.
With pub drinks available it's perfect for a lazy afternoon of dumplings (meat, seafood or vege) and beer.

It's a shame more locals don't know about the newest foodie place to open on the Peninsula. True - the third in the Bamboo Dumpling outlets has opened next to one of the more 'scummier' pubs in the area (William Wallace), but that doesn't mean the food isn't awesome. Decked out in a mix of Chinese Pop and Kitsch (check the puffer fish in the hanging birdcage) the long tables are perfect for big groups for a Sunday lunch. The menu is what you'd hope for - a mix of freshly steamed dumplings (with 2 vegetarian options), Peking Duck, BBQ Pork Buns, Greens, Fried Whitebait, Salt n Pepper squid etc. It's not Chinatown Cheap (about $50 for 2 we spent) but as good a price you'd get in any other Balmain pub - and the food is really fresh. Actually - let's hope it doesn't get too popular - I like that I can get a table every time I go!
