I wouldn't go back to Bandidos Mexican Cantina in Mitcham because I went there on Wednesday 30th November 2011 and I had a small potachos with cheese and sour cream and Colleen had a salad and the lettuce was off.

I went there about 2 months ago and I ordered a chicken taco and when they gave it to me it was raw so I complained to the management who was very rude to me at the time so I just left without paying and I haven't been back since then.

First we were served by a totally un-enthusiastic and slightly surly/rude waitress.
When the food came out quite quickly i was pleasantly suprised, however the smile disappeared from my face as soon as it hit my tongue.
The meal was bland and soggy, appearing as if most of it had been microwaved from frozen. No spice, no strong exciting flavours you would usually expect from mexican food.
If it hadn't cost so much, I wouldn't have bothered to finish my plate.
Give this place a miss, it was truly awful.

The food was terrific. The nachos were cooked to perfection. The Chicken Taco was nice and crispy and the Mexican Chocolate Mousse was delicious also I found the Mexican Punch very refreshing as well.

I have absolutely nothing positive to say about Bandidos. That half-star is being generous.
The service (when you actually got some) was bordering on rude, not a hint of enthusiasm or welcoming hospitality. Worst of all... was the food.
It was bland, unappetising, overpriced, poorly presented, too small portions and just completely disappointing in my opinion. I can honestly say that I've had better Mexican food at a seven-eleven.
To top it all off, the meals took a long amount of time to arrive from the kitchen. It wasn't even busy on the night we went, but we still ended up waiting for far too long.
In summary, this restaurant fails on all accounts in my opinion.

The colourful Mexican design cut-outs which feature in Bandidos decor create the real feel of a Mexican Cantina. The menu includes all the classic Mexican dishes plus some more unusual but equally delicious choices. Friendly staff are on hand to help guide you through these if you are a newcomer to the cuisine. Children are welcome and a takeaway option is available if you are a Speedy Gonzales.
