  lol Amine is bundoora00 how funny they signed up on the same day and he lies no-one from bundoora is happy cause that house for a lady was for 2 years ago and she asked for her money back cause after 2 years the house still wasn't ready.

If you cannot rely on a specification what can you rely upon!!
The plan DOES NOT show only to existing. It is clearly the full driveway. I even offered to pay in full if they did only half the driveway AS THEY CLAIM THEY QUOTED; they still refused.
So I am shifty for relying on a contract by a reg'd builder and expecting it to be honoured?? OK then.
It is not me who has set the price, it is an INDEPENDENT BUILDING EXPERT (who also by the way agrees in thier report that the contract is for the full driveway)
I am sick bringing MY honesty into question; they now admit to removing kitchen after I had paid the fixing stage
The building expert commented that certain work was the worst they have seen in 35 years of building. There is no insulation in top half of walls (too late to put it in now), the stormwater pipe STOPS 5 metres from the outlet and has been all covered up to hide it.
If you are still stupid enough to go with this be prepared to be treated with contempt, disrespect and have your dreams shattered. Otherwise, pay a bit more and STAY AWAY.

I contracted Banyule Homes in 2008 to built a 32sq, double storey in Bundoora.
Amin was very professional that every 3 days or so, he gives me an updated via email. On a 6 months contract, it took him 7 months to complete my house. He did explain to me the reason of 1 month delay which is acceptable to me.
The quality side was spot-on.
I have another job that I want him to do in the near future.
I do not know what went wrong between Amin and Russell but I do know there is a 2nd side of the storey.
I do recommend him and have no hesitation.

We contracted this builder to build a 10sq home and after numerous problems with delayed starts, slab being 1.5 metres short on one side etc, we got to fixing stage and he wanted extra $15,000 for driveway, which was listed on the specs as part of the job. After disputing this he immediately stopped work (not allowed under contract) and told me to go to VCAT. After not turning up to VCAT, telling me I was ignorant etc he then gave us a bill for post fixing stage work (again not allowed under contract) and used this to terminate the contract. He refused to pass on keys or compliance cert's and then didn't show up to the second VCAT hearing. I have now got a building expert report saying it will cost $96K to finish, when only $10k was remaining on contract. STAY AWAY.

  Dear Consumers,
  This person gave me a plan in 2009. On the plan, the Engineer states that "all damages to existing structure must be reinstated by the Builder from his costs" there is no document that says " remove all existing driveway and pour new driveway as the Developer have his responsibility to tell the Builder what he wants....He kept on saying I am relying on my specification which says driveway as per plan,
  My allowance was to do the driveway to the existing driveway which shows exactly as the plan shows.
  I quoted him $100,000 plus GST to do the unit. Wow with this contract, he also wanted the driveway to be included, I call him a shifty client. According to my Carpenter, he was told that the 2nd cheapest was $45,000.00 in difference, so it is up to you to judge who is honest and who is shifty.
  His place is 95% completed and now he is claiming almost the same price, WOW. YOU JUDGE WHO IS HONEST..I will be glad to go to VCAT in March.

  Hi Russell,
  Amine built a nice double storey house in Bundoora for very cheap. I was very impressed with his quality and will write a reference this week. I dont know what happen between both of you but I know he is very honest.
