This place has got to be the worst place I've ever dined at. i bought two vouchers online for a deal they had going for their seafood platters, claiming they were going to give us a seafood platter for two for half price. when we got there, the first thing the man serving us said was "where is your vouchers?" instead of a simple hello or how are you. quite rude!
we were a table of four and when they brought out our food, it was not even enough to feed 2 people. everybody at our table left hungry and on top of that, the man who served us charged us for the drinks that were meant to be included in the deal that was already paid for. the food was edible but nothing special, it wasnt even hot when it arrived. i can easily say i will never ever eat there again and suggest everyone else do the same.
Even the windows were filthy! It was such a bad experience and I am so upset that it was my idea to take people there- it's left me feeling embarrassed and upset.

We decided to stop at Bar Baba for dinner as it looked quiet and nice from the outside. Very much wish now that we had kept walking and found a decent restaurant. The service was ridiculously slow - 20 mins to get drinks is a bit much and to top it off the waiter spilt part of our drinks and then just walked off and left us to clean it up. We ordered garlic bread which was served with our main meals. I had hoped the food would redeem the poor service but frankly it was terrible. My mum's caesar salad was missing croutons really and the dressing turned into a messy soup mixture at the bottom.Seriously, how do you mess up a caesar salad? Nothing beats the waiter and the cook standing outside staring at us eat while they smoked and then packing up the restaurant and turning some of the lights off to close up before we had even finished eating. Overall, a regretful choice for dinner and such a shame considering the great location that they have.

Bar Baba is a great place to go for a coffee, but not for a full meal. The staff appear to be rushed off their feet, and the service is very slow. You may have to ask someone two or three times before they will even bring you a bottle of water. The food is tasty, but can be cold by the time it reaches you. The coffee, on the other hand, is fantastic.

Sadly what used to be a lovely café seems to have been sold to Indians
who are trying to cook Italian food and not at all successfully! The atmosphere is now tacky and filled with neon signs attempting to get people to eat in what is now a street that is full of restaurants for lease or sale. RIP Leichhardt
