Had a bad experience at lunch on Sunday. Took friends for the first time to Barenz the meals were inedible (Cajun Squid) This can only be described as 2 small pieces on lettuce leaves. The meals were returned and we didn't see the staff again! So my friends didn't have lunch! We left in disgust only to find we were being charged for meals that weren't eaten. Explanation given that it gets very busy on Sunday lunch - my suggestion would be - don't open and expect customers to put up with substandard service and meals. Won't be back.

Have eaten at Barenz a few times now and absolutely love it. The place has a fantastic atmosphere and is absolutely buzzing especially on a Friday & Saturday night. It seems to combine the Camden feel with a great city feel and makes you want to go there again. Food is absolutely wonderful with a true Italian flavour without the exorbitant prices you would pay anywhere else. All ages are catered for and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It has both indoor and outdoor areas and is very often booked out. Many tables are reserved & so you have to get there early especially on Fridays when they have live singers to entertain while you dine. This is a really great asset to Camden & you should try it for yourself at least once so you too can agree that its a great place for all. Great value and atmosphere!! Go Enzo & staff!

we went to Barenz a couple of weeks ago, and was fairly under whelmed. we orders tapas that were served cold and were over priced for what was served. Service was Ok but didnt have the Camden country feel that we love about the area. its a bit yuppie feeling for my liking. as for Wine Bar. a glass of wine is only 100ml and very expensive.

Great food, very tasty and not similar to anywhere else. Service was excellent and smiling staff made all the difference. Have now been 4 times and look forward to each time we go. Highly recommend.
