FORGET about never working with animals or children - law students are the ones you need to worry about if you don't want to get upstaged.
Yannis, a young, radical, food-loving, wannabe lawyer was dead keen to come on a restaurant review and, after six months of badgering, finally scored a spot at Barolo. And with a lawyer’s forensic eye, he not only dissected the food, but was also bold enough to ask the lovely waitress out for a drink afterwards. He tried to blame it on the effervescent vibe that permeates through this friendly 80-seater after only one glass of Canella Prosecco ($11). Mood lighting and a huge Campari mural attract enough diners on any weeknight to make the joint hum. And, it should be mentioned here that, despite the restaurant’s name, it is not a bar, but gets its moniker from a wine-producing region in northern Italy.
