    This restaurant looks nice, and has a great atmosphere, but I felt like the tapas was especially plain, though it did look appetising, there wasn't much flavour and the quality wasn't as good as I expected. Quite dissapointed after my friend recommended it to me.

    I bought a 7 course banquet Scoopon voucher to try a new place. Food was a mixed bag - some quite nice, some quite average. Not sure about their famous Spanish dessert as we never got it - after waiting for 30 minutes we decided that enough is enough and left. The staff saw as going but said nothing although we were suppose to get a $20 voucher for our return visit. The whole experience was worth $49 I paid but not more.

    Had lunch at Basque. Really lovely food in an authentic Spanish style.he Paella is well worth trying. Good service but was freezing with the doors open and sitting in a breeze. Prices are ok

    I was expecting a lovely night. Unfortunately the food was lacking (appeared to have been some premade sauces) and uninteresting. It was very expesive for what you got and the service was poor. With a little more effort on the menu it could be wonderful, but sadly for me it was very disappointing.

    The first thing you notice about Basque is the lavish decor - the whole restaurant is a feast for the eyes. During my visit, there was even a guitarist plucking out a latin tune while we dined. Despite this charming Spanish atmosphere, I must admit that the chairs were not as comfortable as they were interesting to look at, and I found the tables to be far too small. The menu was pricey but wonderfully exotic, and I was surprised at how mild and subtle some of the flavours were. The food was also impressively filling despite the ''cosy'' serving sizes. I recommend Basque to those with a palate (and wallet) more attuned to the gourmet; as a starving poet, I will return when I have a discount coupon and a group large enough to justify using it.

    Great food and service. I don't really eat much Spanish food but this was awesome and I'll definitely be back. The flavours were great and not too spicy - just the way I like it. The waiters were attentive and even though the place was fully booked, managed to take our orders and serve the food in reasonably quick time.
