Whe I visit my parents, Baveras is where I take them.
It is our family place for a super meal. We all loveit and it is a true highlight of my return to Geelong each time.
Coming from Adelaide we wanted a special Geelong experience and we found it in Baveras! The atmosphere was great the wine fantastic and the service was attentive and friendly. The place had a real buzz to it it was really great. The food was brilliant - right up at that fine dining level. My dessert had 'snow' sprinkled on it which I believe (and I could be worng) was finely grated white chocolate that had been frozen. Definitely a place to impress someone
Definitely the best I have ever had in Geelong! Recently rebuilt the place is amazing inside. Staff were lovely the food was perfect I was happy. Take your mum here
I was taken to Baveras on Friday night for my 40th birthday. I knew I was in for something special from the moment we walked in. The whole dining experience was simply OUTSTANDING. Being a chef myself the waiter arranged for a brief visit to the kitchen to see their professional team producing world class dishes - the highlight of my night (aside from everything else!) A great fine dining restaurant - probably just what Geelong needs
Baveras is simply the best restaurant I've ever eaten at. Full stop. The tastes were unique the presentation perfect and the setting of the waterfront was a brilliant backdrop to a wonderful night. The service is also impeccable. It's dearer than many but at over 3 hours it was an experience not just a meal and is worth every cent. Fantastic for special occasions
Stylish, understated and with excellent food Baveras really impressed me. The decor is very striking and it feels very unique in Geelong. I went the other evening and enjoyed the 3 course offering. Everything excellent. Bout time we had a restaurant of this callibre in Geelong
This place is a real gem. I found the quality of the food to be awesome. Staff were real great to deal with. Fantastic to have this place right on my doorstep ... I just wish it was more visible? If you didn't know a restaurant was there you could think the Pier was just the giant function venue? My little secret maybe?
